  1. Where in the world do you get these commentators from? That is complete biased disinformation.

Lula was sentenced to 12 years in prison on a charge of corruption judged by 3 different courts. Including the Supreme Court. Evidence is massive.

During his time in office his party ran the largest corruption scheme known in the world. So far 2 BILLION USD in bribes and fraud have been uncovered. The entire leadership of the party is in prison.

Dilma was ousted after cooking the books and overspending the budget. In Brazil we have clear laws against that. And a president can be impeached on such cases.

Brazilians are taking their country back. We are tired of leftists who ruined our economy and our society.

Get the facts straight. Don't lie to your subscribers!!!

  2. deafening silence from all the USA think tanks like NED, USAID, IRI, Freedom House etc about the elections. If Bolsonaro wins you bet he'll be accepted as legit by Trump, EU, IMF and all the right wing latin american neighbours.

  3. Unfortunately the left (globally) is missing this opportunity. The cause of the financial crisis and the following inequality and social upheaval is the banks, central banks (monetary system and policy) together with establishment politicians. But that is nowhere to be found in the narrative. The right has more or less won the narrative (globally). Its like what Steve Bannon said, if Bernie would have had the same guts and fearlessness as Trump he had a good chance of winning. That is what is generally lacking on the left; combative, vocal, hard headed street fighters…that just wont relent. And they got to fight for the right issues…not this over focus on identity issues that just split and enrage and muddy the water. Identify your true enemy and go after them. Dont relent. Thats what the right is doing.

  4. with out coming to terms with brazil history of slavery genocide white supremacy and racism not to mention extreme inequallity and violence it will never move forward towards anything resembling a brighter future

  5. Sadly the Brazilian elite and their military establishment with the aid of the CIA will empower neo Fascist Bolsonaro to the Presidency. The US establishment are all glee at how its is playing out better then they could have thought a return to military dictatorship in Brazil and free for all for foreign capital to rob the country blind. The scumbags imprisoning Lula was the final death knell to Brazilian democracy.

  6. This is ridiculous propaganda!! They are calling the Marxist center-left, and calling his opponent far-right is a country with no real right wing. There is no far-right in south America. Marxist metastatized there decades ago and any normal beliefs were eliminated

  7. How active are the American CIA and U.S. interest groups in Brazil? Are U.S. taxpayers' monies involved? Are U.S. oligarchs involved? I have not seen an adequate explanation for what is happening in Brazil. When the available logic does not support and justify the current state of affairs, you have to look for outside forces and funds that are connected with this outcome.

  8. Travel and tourism represented 8.5% of Brazil's GDP in 2016. Brazil should expect a significant decline if the country is run by a military dictator.

  9. I am hoping Bolsonaro does not become Brazilian President. That's all we in the Western Hemisphere need is another arrogant right winger who is little more than a mouth piece for the centuries old elite upper classes who want a Brazil that is more like a private estate than a modern nation. At least under Haddad the Brazilian poor and working class have a chance at a better economic and political future.

  10. Great interview! The rise of fascism globally is a symptom of the growing gap between the rich and the poor. If you don't attack the head of the snake, you can do more harm than good.

  11. This interviewee obviously never lived in brasil… PT literally raped the countrys coffers, along with lack of healthcare, violence etc… Those are the reasons bolsonaro has a chance to win.

  12. Hilarious! The rape comment is baloney. He was called a rapist by a female politician. And this recession just happened?! Like the flu!? More likely typical socialist overspending which makes figures look better at the expense of destroying productivity in the long run.
