Tens of thousands joined former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on the streets of Recife last Friday for another packed march in northeastern Brazil. This is the poorest region of Brazil. People here felt the real impact of Lula’s policies during his previous governments in the mid-2000s. They voted overwhelmingly for him in the first round. And they are hoping to carry him to the presidency on Oct. 30.
This is Brazil on Fire, a podcast about Brazil’s descent toward fascism under President Jair Bolsonaro. Over six episodes, we look at Bolsonaro’s far-right government that has set the country ablaze, and how the United States helped him do it. We visit the birthplace of Brazilian Nazism, evangelical churches, and Indigenous villages in the Amazon.Â

Lula is corrupt. Father of lies
Come on Brazilians! Kick out of power that corrupt and killer Bolsonaro.
It is very sad and outrageous to see who was convicted in the 3rd instance of robbery, and money laundering, whose party is responsible for the biggest corruption scheme in human history. Have the support of a good citizen. I'm praying for my Brazil and hope Bolsonaro wins!
Huge lies in this video. A lot of people from the North are not supporting him. Lula is a huge criminal.
Viva Lula!
Biased news not revealing the true that Bolsonaro is against corruption and Lula is a thief and jailed because of corruption international media has been fooled by the main media in Brazil.
The thief & the corrupt going to win by computer programmers
This man going to elect by conspiracy and criminal way
The US/NATO doesn't want Lula which is why Brazilians should vote for him.
Genuinely not hopeful. First round was a very bad sign.
He may squeak in, but under a right wing which dominates the entire parliamentary body, and is willing and ready to use violence to launch a coup. Either way, an embolded Bolsonaro won't hesitate to become the Hitler of the Tropics. We face Bolsonaro victory, or a right wing dominated congress that prevents any actual change whatsoever.
Either way, the left is screwed. As it is everywhere, around the globe.
How devided They are . Away with Dictators.
That guy said there's no more corruption 😂 with a straight face 😂😂😂
Lula intends to impose dictatorship in Brazil, stf who works for him js is censoring tv and net media
Inability to grow population or take healthy wealthy and wise immegrants by sparsely populated countries will see rise and more efficient investments in countries like india china and europe and Asean causing them to unnecessarily dominate in future
Cheaper raw material exports from sparsely populated countries
We want #EmmigrationForPeace
#GreenConstruction
#NoDestruction
#Correlia #StarWars
If this is yourcommentary, you are a trueleftist. Lula is a convicted FELON and deserves to be returned to prison…

Go Lula!
Lula the globalist puppet ? Bolsanaro all the way on this one ….We don;t want a repeat of the US 2020 ( even though it looks like that may have happened to cause this run off) …..You're better than this Chris
Lula is the head of the largest criminal ring Brazil ever had, stole bullions from Petrobras besides a supporter of dictators in Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua. He is only free because his party indicate 7 of the 11 judges of the Supreme Court. He was condemned by all independent tribunals and should be in jail now.
