Canada’s “Humanitarian Aid” for Venezuela: Provocation or Genuine Concern?

1. I wrote my MP in Ottawa today advising her that I shall not be flying any Canadian flags this coming Canada Day (July 1) or indeed for the foreseeable future, until I see a significant change in our foreign policy as regards Venezuela and other places where Canada is being meddlesome.

President Maduro did not ask neither US nor Canada for aid; perhaps it was Juan Guaido that did but he is not the duly elected President. I think that most people can see through these propagandized actions that this is nothing more than an attempt to make the Maduro administration look bad in the eyes of the citizens and as the gentleman here is hinting at, maybe there are weapons included with this aid. Even if Maduro decides to allow it, it should be thoroughly inspected and anything that has the slightest hint of weapons or electronics should be confiscated.
