Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is supporting Haiti’s President Jovenel Moise, who has lost all legitimacy, if he ever had any, and at the same time it is in the forefront in opposing Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro, who had a more legitimate election and has more supporters, says Yves Engler

  1. I'm haitian, the problem we have in Haiti is because of the usa. When have election in Haiti usa always fight to put someone who corrupted because they can control him.

  2. Steal from the people, nothing new here. Venezuela has one of the best elections & yet the corporate elites are trying to overthrow the people choice.

  3. The present government of Canada is led by a hypocrite who wants a coup in Venezuela while saying that they believe in democracy but Canada wants Venezuela resources for western companies, they sign the resolutions in the UN on Israel and Palestine but if you want Israel to follow these resolutions they call you an anti Semite ,the Liberal government say they want Canada to have a new green footprint on the world but buy a pipeline so they can export more oil, etc.

  4. Canadian government once again shows its true colors. Climate denial, pollution, harassment of their indigenous people, now this? Sickening to the max. Guess there still is a lot of english and french old way of thinking stuck in the brains of many plus the desire for capitalism to the max. Bloody fools.

  5. The family got to the Dominican Rep. And then left to France! He was taken out of the palace and forced to sign his resignation. Not when it comes to Imperialism, plunder, pillage, highway robbery! Get Aristi and Zelaya.

  6. Has to llok at France, Canada and the Unite States! They were mercenaries. When caught they told the police to call their Boss. They were allow to leave! Who was the Boss? We do not know! Cansda has not left haiti since the 1990s. Talk to Aristi!

  7. In Venezuela most of the population believes in the Sovereignity of venezuela. The population might be as fracmented as the United States is between Trump/Republicans and Democracts. The French, the United States and the United Nations has being in Haiti since the end of the 1990s. It is important to Bring to one of your Programs Jean Betran Aristi. This expresident is a resident of Haiti, has a university there, has many published books and it is about time to talk to him about our Coup and complicity since the 1990s. The same is true about president Zelaya from Honduras. Lest hear directly from them. Heck! Lest hear from Noriega before he dies!

  8. Baltimore? Baltimore is worst than both Haiti and Venezuela. Let's hope Trudeau will support Baltimore and clean its streets from the criminals.

  9. Venezuelan elections are freer and fairer than US American elections. In Venezuela the president is the one who wins the majority of votes, but not in the USA.

  10. Trudeau and the Liberal party are Neoliberals, now… following the Establishment Democrats in the U.S.
I have heard Trudeau call himself a progressive….He is absolutely NOT that…. He may not have enough brains to understand he is following mostly Neoliberal philosophy, with some imperialism of the
Neocons… He is a disgrace to the reputation Canada once had as a peace keeper. Canada is nothing now buy an arm of the U.S. CIA

  11. Yves, you're a scoundrel. You have not pointed out anywhere that Canadian citizens would NEVER support a coup in Venezuela and only want the best for people in both Haiti/Venezuela. A lot of what you state is correct about our government and their campaign, but that is dropped on us here the same way it is internationally. Speak as a Canadian yourself and stand up for what we truly represent, instead of spreading this image that we support these actions.

  12. The Canadian government is governed by the neoliberal, corporate.political and military neocon elites domestically and globally. These neocon elites are who Trudeau has turned the governing of Canada over to, particularly our foreign policy, which is dictated to completely by the U.S. These neocons are Trudeau's advisors and they are the ones that determine almost all of Canadian policy, domestic and global. In other words, Canada has a Deep State, which is primarily controlled by the U.S. Deep State. Their ultimate goal is to turn Canada into a neoliberal "Post Nation State." Neoliberalism has been embraced by our governments mainly since 1980, but was firmly entrenched under Harper and has been accelerated under Trudeau.

Trudeau is Prime Minister in name only. His mindless obedience, to implementing policies directed by his neocon advisors, including Gerald Butts is what makes him a real danger to Canadian sovereignty. He is betraying Canadians on a scale never seen before. Harper comes close. The SNC-Lavalin scandal is just the tip of the iceberg.

  13. I'm so ashamed of my country. I'm not surprised, just ashamed. Be it Venezuela, Huawei or SNC-Lavlin, our government is letting down the people. Our prime minister might look beautiful, but his behaviour is incredibly ugly.

  14. The U.S government creates a corrupt system in Haiti since they occupied it in 1915 until now in order to keep that country continually in dire poverty, due to Haiti's past victorious revolution against slavery and eventually became the first republic in the world by defeating several slave masters (France, Spain,England).

  15. Liers The problem is in the Senate not the president the Senate members pay the public to overtro the president Canada don't know nothing 🙄🙄🙄😏😏😏😏😏😏😏

  16. In Venezuela, until 1998 the 40% most educated owned all of the land, wealth and political power. Today, the educated 40% still own all the land, wealth and rule over Parliament. Reason being, if Chavez or Maduro dared to nationalize the land, personal wealth, banks or anything else owned or controlled by the rich, they would be voted out of office.

Root cause being, most everyone believes that they deserve to be rich and woe to any government that stands in the way.

  17. Could it be Otto Wambier was too emotional, crying, that caused N. KOREANS TO SEDATE HIM?.NEW MEANS OF CONTROL IS DRUGS. JUST LIKE THE U S. OPIOD OTTO

  18. Trudeau is fraud and many Canadians who voted for Mr. Progressive are realizing the truth about him. Since he refuses to resign I hope he is voted out of office. Instead of sticking his nose in Venezuela and Haiti's internal affairs, he should be concerned about the first people of Canada whom he has done very little for. Sadly little would change with Trudeau replacement.

  19. For the last 20y, Canada has been infested by Indian hindu and sikh extremists in high places, with a specific religious angenda and the US is catching up, fast!

  20. Canada is a willing partner in the US Empire, our occasional opposition to the US is just to establish a safe independence that we can then peddle to the world. The red in our flag more comes from the blood of foreign and indigenous people we've murdered and less from patriots who have spilled their own blood defending her.

  21. I moved to Canada Way back in 1976. I did this in order to get away from the United States, and now it seems Canada has become the puppet of the USA. This is very disheartening; Is there no place that is safe?

  22. This guy is very ill informed about venezuela. he is way out of touch. Go to florida maquis channel if you would like to know the real deal on what is going on there.

  23. As a Canadian, I used to wonder how anyone could live in the US with all its brutal foreign policies. Yves has opened my eyes to exactly the kind of country I live in. Canada's behaviour speaks volumes about this county's vile nature and how we became early adopters of neo-con / neo-lib policies.
