Cartoonist Keith Knight’s dramedy “Woke” is a semi-autobiographical mixing of political consciousness with outrageous humor and surreal animation.

  1. I'll say it's good because I told myself I'd watch half an episode and decide if I'd finish later; what seemed like an hour later I had finished the entire season and thought, "That's it?!" Light look at a complex issue. Dig it.

  2. Multi-media of content gave a lot of "other" people jobs.😐 Hays valley SF…my friend opened an art gallery on the corner of Page and Laguna (former liquor store) then Black Muslam Bakery opened a store next door. The strategy: They did this to deminish crime in the neighborhood and to get rid of the "Ho-stro" it worked well enough to give the police reason to be present to protect property. In turn, driving away crime and creating prospects with the promise of increase in property value. THE BEGINNING OF GENTRIFICATION. This was in the early 80's. That's how it works people! When you see this happening, make sure you are in place to grab the parcels before it's too late. Oh, they also had plans for redesigning the roadways. This displaced a lot of residents.
