Ah, that's a real professor I can respect. Low quality camera, doesn't actually make that much – I'm not joking. A real people's professor isn't an ivy league shill, it's guys like this who clearly spend most of their time working too hard to avoid ostentatious presentation.

"The history of all hitherto existing societies is the history of class struggles." Still rings true even in present China. Intetestingly, Bakunin was also right.
this is ultra-leftism not leftism like lin biao and the gang of four. china has markets not capitalism but ultras can never tell the difference. if Prof. Xu wants to know what capitalism actually looks like go to india.
i am glad that so many young people in china hate capitalism though.
Oh come on Mr. Xu, face reality not political dogma. You really want to return to Maoism? If you want to fight then fight corruption not the system which is propelling you into a first-world consumer society. As you obviously haven't learnt anything at university ask the older people what it was like then.
The only
When china adopted capitalism in 1970s , it developed alot .
Why are these people protesting ???~
You can´t have your cake and eat it too. Since a "true" socialist economy is not possible, any sustainable system is based on some kind of market economy and price system and therefore subject to the next wave of Marxist uprisings. Calling your capitalist economy "Socialism with [some arbitrary adjective]" sustains the credibility of the Marxist doctrine, but as soon as someone reads an actual Marxist text you have your next potential revolutionary. The precedent has already been set. Then the following "pure" Marxist system either collapses instantly or deforms again into some version of a market economy and the revolutionary cycle can start again. This goes on right until the point where the government admits that economic liberalism is what keeps the actual economy going.
This channel smells like CIA
Pretty brave. China's has extremely draconian instruments of civic repression. Seems like there are a lot of cracks underneath the surface in the Chinese system of governance.

MARXISTS,,, CHINAS NEW SUPPLY FOR ORGANS.
MORE ORGAN DONORS MARXISTS CHINAS NEW SUPPLY.
China is a one party(CCP) oligarchy. The CCP like Russia has never been true Marxist nor capitalist. The student movement opposes their rule and of course oppressed.
Buh… Buh… Muh China is capitalist because they have state owned banks and companies.
Too bad Greg didn't ask the guest about like when real leftist leaders like Maduro and Diaz-Canel visit China they laud Mao. What does the guest think Xi thinks about that? His recent predecessors have been neoliberals like him as well. The country's been trending away from Mao from some time.
These guys are highly educated, respect!
Don't they have a problem with Maoists? In particular?
