8. They used the same story of rape and sexual battery against the president of the international monetary fund in 2011. The US and a few of other western countries didn't like his monetary policy. He was arrested at Kennedy air port, put in Rikers Island and held there. As soon as he resigned from the IMF all charges were dropped because the prosecutors office suddenly decided there were " substantial credibility issues" with the accuser, who, just like Assanges accuser, was a hotel maid.
