  1. Along with the Bolivian coup, it looks like democracy is having another rough time in Latin America. Where's the "cold war" excuse this time? It is time for democratic freedom-fighters to again don the olive green, take to the hills, and struggle for liberty and human rights until the head of tyranny lies beheaded at the peoples' feet.

  2. Fine interview, but while there's some good news with it, it isn't entirely good. I wish these people in Colombia well, success. I don't at all recall having ever read of anything good about the Colombian govt, which employs paramilitary, or like, forces that're vicious, brutal, insane, …, but I nonetheless wish these Colombian activists well.

  3. You can’t protest yourself into success in the global economy. You can’t demand your way into success in the global economy.

  4. Paramilitary killing innocent people for 100 years. One of the worst squadrons ever existed in that country. And the Colombians, now is the time to put those criminals in jail. These corrupt governments in colombia always operates with these criminals to quietly and repression colombian people. That is what happens when the government abuse and killing his own people. Make resign midget face duque a pupet.

  5. This is so sick!! I guess we don't even have the right to food or water. REVOLUTION WORLD WIDE IS NEEDED, SHUT DOWN EVERYTHING!! MAKE THE RICH POOR!!!

  6. The privatization of the economy including public resources and services (as well as police and military services) is societal theft. The protest movement needs to act quickly to prevent further theft and crisis – the criminals behind the privatization of public sovereignty are known however to cultivate/exasperate crisis and are experienced in operating during crisis. Protester demands should be three-fold. 1. Immediately declare "no confidence" in the Presidential administration's privilege to govern and demand "recall"; under the pretext that the President is not acting in the best interest of the population, or is hostile towards the population. 2. Nationalize banks, utilities, social services, claims to all resource (notably foreign claims). 3. Declare all public debt incurred by the hostile administration to be onerous, and void – international banking interests insidiously leverage the public administrator's 'power of attorney' to indenture the public to (international) private loan agreements.
Protesters should initially mobilize against government institutions, followed by financial institutions in conjunction with resource extraction operations and (air)ports. Protesters should note that one of the first acts undertaken by the coup leaders in Bolivia was the immediate transfer of the country's gold reserves to the U.S. While difficult to manage in the face of police/military aggression, protesters should protest peacefully and acknowledge that both police and military are fellow citizens, whose family and friends are counted among the beleaguered and exploited populace – they are carrying out orders from the corrupt-captured government yet need to be informed of the betrayal by the political class. Violence should be shunned at all cost, though self-defence is justified – violent protesters should be ostracized. Infiltrators (agent provocateurs) will be recognized by their use of violence.
    Good luck.

  7. Those are not only students and unions. They are mostly non unionized workers, ethnic communities and other representatives of the civil society as a whole.

  8. Young people should be demanding a better future! The future in store for them is a life of degradation and indignity, poverty.
Private ownership does not exists in Columbia or in the US.
If the direct producers (working populations) did have ownership of the means of production; technology and science would not be the fruit of no-workers and non wage-earners.
And since these forces of production are converted into private property they are promoted not with the intent to develop and support the growth of the working class but to defend and protect the rule over the work carried out by people in the labor-process. Medicare For All, will never be a reality for this reason. The individual has no ownership of the labor-process and no access to its progress except by means of selling the labor-power in workers for a subjectively decided wage. Since the labor-process is also a wealth creating activity of human beings, technology and science is applied for a specific purpose, to enhance the wealth producing activity of workers in a labor-process, whatever may be that process, whether it is work carried on in fields, offices, factories, the State. Technology and science becomes further socialilzed spread into whole branches of industries that go into the creation of the product. The entire foundation of the production of commodities in agriculture and industry shifts from a social system that for centuries was based on a system that denied a particular individual the private ownership of land and tools making land, tools, etc., the private property of the community, i.e., social cooperatives versus individual private business.

Duque and his people in government push monopoly control over the means of production by a handful of multi-national corporations. A program to break up this monopoly up directly attacks the capitalist class in the US and the foundation it has built to extract the wealth creating activity of a working population from Latin America, and US working people. This is why Duque has nothing to offer his country. What he offers to the multinational corporations is a program that gives them the ability to produce below the individual costs of the unit and sell below the average price of the finished product. To maintain this economic relation he must repress his working population to conform to the rule of capital.

  9. And that's what happens when, after the last major world war ll, the latin American countries gave safe refuge to running(to escape) german nazis where evently started taking over your countries down south, and now like here in North America U.S. also because of the gov's CIA (back then called by a different names) brought German nazis to come create other gov (alphabet named) agencies here; and now trying to impose their type of rule here, using "white skin color" as a way to get their way of control.
They bring open prejudices & biases against all others races/peoples of color.

  10. With out a population there's no government more people need to stand up to them am talking about million student parents kids all together can overcome a government 😬😬😬🤔🤔🤔😬😬🤔🤔💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
