Coty Cecil was awaiting repairs on his RV in a West Virginia campground when Milton police started breaking into his home, refusing to show a warrant. Cecil was eventually charged with possession with intent to distribute and transporting drugs over state lines, even though the half-dozen pot plants found in his RV were grown in his home state of Michigan—where they are legal. While looking into the dubious circumstances of Cecil’s arrest, PAR investigated the finances of the small rural community and uncovered some intriguing details about the role policing plays as a revenue engine for the town. once again, to me they conducted an illegal search because they didn't wait for the warrant.
To me he should get off and all charges should be dropped because the police conducted an illegal search even if a warrant was forthcoming

I read a study that determined that in most US cities, 50% or more of the annual budget goes to the police d😂partment. This is true in big cities like Chicago as well as small towns like Milton. What could we accomplish in the USA with 50% more money for we the people?
None of that "evidence" will be admissable in court because 🎉hey had no warrant. So everything is fruit of the poisoned vine.

The benefits of weed or its legality isn't the point. What was the probable cause, where's the warrant. It looks 100% like an illegal search. Everything found is the fruit of the poisonous tree. All needs to be thrown out.
