Cops hate citizen journalists, but they’re not the only ones – Everything Law and Order Blog

Citizen journalists continue to play a critical role in holding police accountable, which is why they face increasing pushback from the underlying system that bolsters bad cops. PAR speaks to cop watchers Laura Shark and Lackluster about the challenges they face when reporting on police, and how auditing law enforcement has become an increasingly dicey occupation. Please join journalists Taya Graham and Stephen Janis for this important episode of the Police Accountability Report! #PoliceAccountability #CopWatchers #Police

  2. If I ever win the lottery I’m not only going to help support you but also make sure you’re have the best constitutional lawyers in the nation . People like you need all kinds of protection

  3. I think that they need to go to college for at least a year before they can become a cop and learn how to Constitution reason what to do about it

  4. so I'm confused why they ordered him out of the car. like what was their reasoning

not only would the naming of the officers by media like they would with civilians be a deterrent from them doing it again but also it let's the public know of a possible dangerous corrupt cop. and the public should habe the right to know if a person who has pledged that they would serve and protect the area is possible armed with gun and badge and is potentially dangerous.

  5. LASD are the dirtiest just look who they are (these cowards are under the control of no other than Alex Villanueva who is worse than Lee Baca) they celebrate by chanting thrill of the kill. And they can barely speak English.

  6. Go LL! You exemplify what it means to be the change you want to see in the world. There is a lesson in that for all of the naysayers out there, if they are willing to open their eyes to it. Also, on the hope that you will ever even see this comment, what was the disposition of your DMCA counterclaim? I assume that you didn't just take that laying down. But if you gave an update about it on your channel I must have missed it. Has there been a resolution that made you whole financially or is it still pending?

  7. Public funding of something doesn't mean the copyright or patent is public domain. Because capitalism. Public funding regularly gets put towards things that get patented by private businesses. The whole point is to privately capitalize on anything and everything, keeping it all under tight control in as few hands as possible.

  8. Hi Taya
Thanks for giving these Auditors the credit they deserve….they really are modern day heros and i admire them. Keep up the great work guys…and please be careful, they'll stop at nothing to shut you'll down!

  9. Omg 😱 this people it’s doing this for the good of the community in the news don’t want to recognize that
    God bless them

  10. I had a copywrite strike for sharing police dashcam video with commentary for educational purposes. Still under account suspension for that strike on public access video. Disgusting!

  11. I truly don't understand the violence. How can a human being want to hurt another human being? Not just punch a person, I get that. I mean beat someone till their eye pops out or want them dead. When I think about punishment I think about beating them till they're eye pops out or they're dead. This saddens me and makes me realize I can be just as bad as the brutalizer.
    Thanks for the great work,
    Peace and solidarity!

  12. Thank you for elaboration in philosophical way. Even when the cops are in the right like in killing an armed robber, it seems like a terrible waste of young people over $200. This happened near me. Who will ever know if could have different result?
