Video obtained by Police Accountability Report reveals how police in a small Texas town used violence to force a man who was not suspected of a crime to turn over his phone. The warrantless seizure raises more questions about the use of illegal tactics by police in rural communities.

  1. I have a question to anyone why don't people set-up a kill switch to reset your phone or tablet to factory rest when your phone is stolen or lost it is easy to do so if your phone is seized by law enforcement without proper procedures just set it up on your tablet or your other phone simple.

  2. If we place a bounty upon convictions then private enterprise would produce a brief regarding a crime. With the consent of the victim, (for without a victim, where is the crime), private enterprise would present the brief to a judge. if the judge considered that there is a case for the accused to answer then the judge would order a sheriff (not the police), to bring the accused to the court. The private enterprise would present the case and if the case is proven then the private enterprise is awarded the bounty. That would replace the incompetence, political, bureaucratic, moral and financial corruption, including abuse of power of the police and of the public prosecutor with efficient and effective private enterprise.

  3. My phone was seized for video evidence of self-defense I recorded. The phone has not been returned to me and was taken August of 2022.

  4. I had my phone stolen from me from police without a warrant, reason or evidence of a crime. They just grabbed it out of my hands.

  5. Also I was jailed illegally 2 times months later, while placeing my life in jeopardy 3 times aswell. I was house sitting, they were sent there on false accusations,an false information given by the"victem" Instagator "cops fieoncee" no warrant, came into residence uninvited, searched without permission.

  6. I had something simular happen to me,there wasn't any physical attempted towards me,but they totally showed no reguard for my rights whatsoever,an broke atleast 4 laws themselves while doing so as if they were unrestricted or immune to the law themselves,. With out worry of consequences of reprisal later for their actions.

  7. I would have left immediately and went straight to an attorneys office. Effin thugs deserve general population prison for at least ten years.

  8. he can punch a man in the face for no reason other then being angry and not get charged for it? this makes me feel like …. some police

  9. They should be sued and fired and lose all their immunity and lose all ability to work in the law enforcement field. The other thing I think that violent officer should get is a A W!

  10. This is exactly why cops should go to jail and not be given a past when they do things like this because if you fight back they will charge you and then they will shoot you and call it justified yet their actions are criminal. Never I repeat never ever trust a cop.

  11. I would end up in prison for life or death row for lying in wait at sheriffs house..why would anyone talk to cops for any reason..

  12. Speaking of stealing people with bribe money or not supposed to be the police ,but usually that's all they can find because of the type of behavior the police have been using !

  13. I'll tell you here Mike Huckabee only had bribe money ,and that's how he got elected they're criminals involved ,with an abuse of powers ! You could only imagine what took place before he was elected !!!

  14. How does NACOGDOCHES county have so much corruption and no one does anything about it? Sherriff hides all his dirtty work n goes on like nothing happened..my father ask..HOWS HE STILL IN OFFICE BUT WHEN ASKED WE GET NO ANSWERS

  15. 16. To this day that deputy still hasn’t been suspended not a day. But he is the only officer in Texas for the year of 2022 not getting qualified immunity. We need help getting the Nacogdoches County’s Sheriff’s department be accountable for there actions. This is an election year, let’s get some new management for the love of god.

  17. This is another reason why people dont talk to cops. The worst part about this video is the other 2 officers join in then do fuckking nothing when he gets punched 2xs.

  18. Yeah, you never give them your pin no matter what they do. They can kiss my ass locked and will stay that way and never give them any help with any investigation that’s not in your best interest!

  19. i just discovered this page. i love it

ps i live not to far from nac. that place and another county called montgomery county have a harsh reputation. they really take it to you at the fullest extent of the long dick of the law

  20. Chicago needs to be sued for both actual damages and punitive damages in excess of 1 billion dollars. Chicago needs to be bankrupted. That is the only way that this behavior will stop.

  21. This was a criminal battery by these so called Police Officers. Our Attorney General of the United States of America should be prosecuting these so called Police Officers. Where is Merrick Garland?

  22. What makes it even funnier is you go in there just to tell just to find out later oh I don’t trust The county are you dumb when did you realize that after a few punches

  23. How u go in there to tell just to get beat up I don’t feel bad you might support this blue and some of yall people need to know they’re not your friends yes I’m talking to you too Karen’s

  24. These cops need to be arrested for assault and battery in the second and put behind bars. They also need to lose their qualified immunity and forced to pay for the lawsuit forth coming from this man. Cops like these are the reason why the good cops are getting all the hate and heat from the public for. If you want the public to stop the revolt, then you need to discipline the bad cops .
