  1. You idiots don't know the law's and how they apply to you . Obama legalized it in Washington D.C. . When the state charges you , they get their jurisdiction from Washington D.C. and you being a United States citizen . So the law's of Washington D.C. apply to the territorial States citizens . This is how they get jurisdiction , if they don't use the territorial jurisdiction then your sovereign and they can't charge you . If they use your citizenship , then Washington D.C.law applies and Obama legalized it ! Next time you get high learn the law's which dictate everything in your life ! Dam !

  2. Should be up to us the people not. The government. That is y we have rights We should be aloud to smoke if we want hell subs is a drug bear is a drug Tylenol is a fucking drug an u can by it for kids everywhere u go an the federalgovernment gets there pice even now they r taken there money from it right now n ww2 the government haed alot of. People grow it for alot of things

  3. i am very tired of the trumps administration out of touch position on weed. it is time to decriminalize it all the way and remove it from scheduale ones. most people dont think you should be denied employment or be put in jail or have your life ruined or your property confiscated or have a civil asset forfeture done on you over some pot. good people don't go against the will of the people they obey them. we were not born to bow down to dictatorship like jeff sessions glad to see his ass gone. who wants to be gone next? we a people will get rid of each and every single last one of you. keep it up and lets just see what happens.

  4. "go to the store on the corner and get it" Idiot…. Yet it can go to the corner store and get a bottle or government pills… Man made alcohol, God made pot, who do you trust

  5. It has Nothing to do with black and White. It's more about the rich and poor. I'm white and have had 3 tickets for $1000 each for possession of a g. There's a reason why you have to fill out a sheet of your net worth when you go to court…..

  6. They just need to legalize this shit. For real. It’s not bad and to see that then go smoke a joint and find out. It’s different for everyone but not harmful. I just want it for my ADHD and ADD problems.. it’s so bad that I can’t even read when a movie is playing because it distracts me or even any background noise but when I smoke im able to read and comprehend what I’m reading. The point is it helps me learn and helps me stay focused. I’m sure others can agree

  7. Who was the high level person who started the movement for legalizing it back in the 70's/80's – arguing that the benefits wud mostly b taxes/economic = Univ of Chicago's prof Friedman. However, the word was Friedman was part of a cabal of nefarious 'ppl' wanting to continue to undermine the U.S. social fabric in order to control it n in order to do that the dumbing down of the American citizenry needed to continue past the simpleton memorization system of education n pop culture – that drugs too shud b available to the American youth n older generations n they decided that having a constantly high dumbed down public wud b perfect n MJ was the perfect culprit to get us there.

  8. Very fine discussion, but marijuana shouldn't be legalized. Instead, it should be totally decriminalized, for there was never any justification in illegalizing it to begin with. Short of the proper decriminalization, legalization evidently is better than criminalizing people for being in possession of this plant; but, decriminalization would be the correct way to go. And I don't care about the "average" person also selling marijuana. The govt only wants your tax dollars to pay for its wars and other crimes. The govt too much is like a criminal racket. On a small scale, enough for several weeks at a time a few times per year, I was once in the business and did absolutely nothing wrong to anyone. The govts would've canned my butt, if the govts found out about what I did and caught me in the act, but that's govts, and I trust myself a heck of a lot more than I could trust the govt(s). It's only marijuana, "for crying out loud"; nothing wrong with it, unless allergic to it, and I've never known anyone who was allergic to this plant, though to other things, which marijuana consumption greatly help them with; but, it's a great medicinal and therapeutic herb, It's very helpful for many people, and it shouldn't only be legalized for medicine, for while some people can tend to consume it recreationally, as I did, it still had very good therapeutic effect (or affect?) for me. It's dumb voters who repeatedly "elect" jerks for political representatives who constitute a serious problem for society, and far from only about marijuana. "Elect" jerks and that's what'll happen. The govt is full of very serious criminality, and there's too much incompetence, as well.

  9. The Neo-Liberal Legalization is just to perpetuate Corporate Capture of every commodity. The Permit Bribe system of California put 98% of the small cannabis providers out of business and gave it to Global Capitalist Corporations. The Progressives dropped the ball so far on the legalization of cannabis.

  10. CAN U NOT SEE , THE MARIJUANA , ISSUES IS A WELL , ORGANIZED TOPIC , BY THE GOVT. THEY PEFER TO SEE U DRUG UP .!!!! For ESAY CONTROL .!!!!!! .WHILE PRIVATE, COOPERATIONS , BENEFIT, FROM IT.THIS , DOES NOT HAPPEN IN THE ELITES WORLD 🌎.!!!!! .💰💰💰💰💰💰😳😢🙏🏾📚📖📚…

  11. They'll Legalize Cannabis When the Pharmaceutical Conglomerate has Cornered the Market and Genetically Modified the Product. Welcome to Corporate Fascism!

  12. when you smoke you notice patterns, when you notice patterns you see conspiricys, and our FED overlords dont want the general popluation to know what they shouldn't know.

  13. Somehow, Congress is able to break through its gridlock to cut taxes for the wealthy, raise the Defense budget to its highest level in history, maintain marijuana as a Class One substance under Dick Nixon's legacy War on Drugs, and threaten Venezuela with a military invasion. When they put their minds to it, the leaders of the two major parties are able to legislate as if they were responsible to the same constituency, the special interests. God Bless Them!

  14. God I hope so, I have thought Pot should be legal since 1973 when it became obvious that pot laws are complete and total bullshit. There has been nothing so ridiculous since the big enders vs the little enders in Gulliver's Travelers. Where pot is concerned the law is the crime and the judge is the criminal, the victim is the wrongly accused owner of a bag of weeds. There is no inherent criminality of marijuana, it is a manufactored crime cut from whole cloth. Why should anyone respect the law when the law is complete and total bullshit made up by feckless morons.

  15. Can you please stop calling it marijuana and instead use the correct term, Cannabis. "Marijuana" was the name the government gave it to make it sound mischievous.

  16. I’m in the purple state of Virginia and we are about 86% in favor of full legalization!! I do have a question though… why don’t you have anyone representing the #ADOS who are most affected by marijuana criminalization??

  17. You'll find the biggest opponents to "Legalization" are the Prison Unions. Our states have privatized our prison systems that stand to lose alot of money.

  18. My question is to whomever composed the headline:

Why did you use the term “pot”?

Why not use the word “cannabis”?

Pot is a word that anti-cannabis supporters use with disdain.

  19. Yeah, well, now it's all about who is going to get the excessive profits. So whoever wins that battle will actually determine policy. We have legal alcohol and tobacco, the worse drugs of all.Alcohol and tobacco are almost impossible to stop using.

  20. Nobody's going to buy that government GMO modified s*** weed it's imposter bud it smells great but it don't get u stoned nobody's going to buy that s***

  21. The problems we face as Black people stems from Africa's under development. Black Americans in particular (collectively with others in the diaspora) need to become the financiers and economic engine of African socioeconomic development ; (primarily its private sector) and by proxy owners of corporate Africa; instead of the Asians and former colonizers. One million African Americans etc. aggregating a small amount of our income can make tremendous positive impact here in the US and on the African continent; in terms of investment and socioeconomic transformation. In my estimation, there're about approx. 50 million+ Black Americans (including members from the diaspora) in the US currently. If one million pledged $100 USD a month to fund any project.. that would essentially generate $100,000,000 (one hundred million dollars USD) for that month and over one billion in one year. On the African continent that amount would increase exponentially based on the currency exchange rate. Think Brother and Sisters think…. No one will ever respect us until we begin to practice Black Group Economics on this scale!

The ULTIMATE goal is to create an economic ecosystem in which 1 million funded Black businesses contribute sustainably more to the Development Fund!

An idealistic Black Economic Ecology: (1 Million employed Black contribute $10 per month to create capital to fund 100,000 businesses) = (100,000 Black Funded Businesses contribute $100 per week through legal agreement & partnership) + ( Larger Funded Black owned Companies contribute $1000 per month).

What we need to create is a "National Black Economic Development Fund," backed by one million employed Blacks; to generate capital to fund new Black businesses and other socioeconomic programs without remuneration! It's CRITICAL we pool our resources and build a PRIVATE SECTOR for ourselves and completely STOP depending on the CORRUPT instruments of government.
