Democrats are courting disaster (again) by betraying their base – Everything Law and Order Blog

Grassroots activists worked tirelessly to get voters to the polls in 2020, and their efforts helped Joe Biden win in key swing states like Wisconsin. Now these same activists say they feel deeply disappointed that Democrats have broken their campaign promises by gutting their own economic agenda, which could have brought real change to working people across the country. Reporting from on the ground in Wisconsin, TRNN’s Jaisal Noor sits down with Angela Lang, who launched Black Leaders Organizing for Communities, a year-round community engagement and voter turnout organization that helped Biden win Wisconsin and the White House. As Lang warns, Democrats must deliver meaningful change for voters if they want to avoid getting routed in the 2022 midterms.

  1. They (whoever) are stirring up the final barriers of a country wide revolt to correct the misguided moral and legal direction the US has been headed in for a couple decades. At least since Nov 1963.

  2. This is the problem we have with B-P they all why say people of color we are not using that word anymore.(B-P) OTHER PEOPLE DON'T LOOK OUT FOR US.

  3. That's not true because they didn't win the last cycle Trump swept this nation as obviously vindicated by the absolute betrayal of Biden with his agenda increase in gas prices by 30% and doing the mandate that he swore he would never do. Having people fall off planes in trying to escape his Holocaust in Afghanistan with only 3% of the people filling the planes qualifying crowding out the qualifiers to stay back with their names on list to be butchered by the Taliban. Shaming our country by begging to give us gasoline, all well he approves a Russian pipeline. Talk all you want and we'll just keep going to the polls like Virginia.

  4. Politicians are owned by the Masters. Does not matter which party is in power, the wealthy get what they want. AOC is toeing the line , so chill and pretend it is possible to make a difference in politics.

  5. I voted for Green Party, cause I knew that Dems & Biden wasn't gonna do nothing like he did during the Anita Hill Case** Time for ADOS and POC to bond, create a New Party and *Stop supporting the Duopoly*

  6. Thé Dixiecrats need to learn, stop giving them your vote for nothing, votes are for sell. Send a message the CBC and the Dixiecrats must go, period

  7. We the People just have to admit that this country is a Corporate Entreprice. We have to reframe our perception of ourselves from Citizen to Worker and Consumer. The sooner we acept out place the sooner we redice the stress of constant fitile pushback. We live in a Corporate Plantation. Live with it.

  8. Democrates are not abandoning their base. The corporation's needs have been protected. They like Biden, just don't care to advocate the societies best interest.

  9. I dumped the dems many years ago after B.Clinton passed NAFTA,CAFTA & sent our good JOBS to COMMUNIST CHINA!
For too many decades, they keep pulling the "bait & switch", promiss us "X" but deliver NOTHING!
We STILL don't have affordable HEALTH CARE, we STILL don't have affordable HOUSING, we have million of unemployed, hundreds of thousands of homeless.
So what was Bidens first priority when he took power? BOMB SYRIA!!
I did NOT "vote" for Biden, another dam war monger!

We did not need to bomb Syria, we still need living wage JOBS, affordable HOUSING, affordable SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE, we have thousands of people DYING ON OUR STREETS, too many are STILL being MURDERED BY COPS.
We need REAL CHANGE, NOT EMPTY PROMISES!

  10. Real news are you for real? She is nothing but a democratic tool. If you haven't been listening to the new Black media you will all be suspect. This woman ignored generations of dems backsliding and harming the black community. This is the reason these pseudo black advocates can never speak for black people, she is mobilizing blacks to empower others. This is why Jason Black and Professor black truth say when these so called black groups speak it's never in the interest of black people, they will always shoe in others in their babble talk when the others never speak for or include blacks in their agendas. They will use fear as a motivating factor for black votes and no tangibles at all like they do for other groups. The Dems controlled both houses and they never did anything concrete for black people, they have run out of excuses. The code words for these sell outs are, people of color, climate change, immigrants, LGBT, anything that takes the focus off of our real problem white supremacy and systemic racism! The blacks on the ground demand reparation and punishment for police brutality and nothing less!
