I've never watched mainstream media with any regularity but my partner was OBSESSED with Rachael Maddow UNTIL she flipped on Bernie after getting a $3 million pay raise. I had been warning my partner for some time about mainstream media, how even the so-called "left" media is actually more centrist because of their corporate interests (left leaning only on certain issues like gay rights – they don't even care about the environment!). For example – One of the ads that was airing regularly during her show was a BP ad where they are bragging about how beautifully they cleaned the hole they left in the Gulf. In REALITY, the hole is still there and it's still leaking almost 20 years later!!!During the 2016 election cycle Rachael Maddow talked about Trump SO MUCH and aired him so continuously that I had to actually leave the apartment when my partner was watching the show… I couldn't stand it. I think Rachael showed more clips of trump than Friends Of Xenophobia.
