Last week the Bernieverse was abuzz with the news that Black voters bashed Bernie once again. But are people really getting the full context of what happened, and are Black voters – and Black voters’  issues – being glossed over again? An analysis with Anoa Changa

  1. What is Bernie Sanders going to do about white supremacists AND white nationalists ?

MORE than obama :: When the Head of Homeland Security reported to obama about the rise of these hate groups, obama "shelved" the report !

Now people are putting the obligation on Bernie to do something that obama should have had the guts to do, BUT DIDN'T ! like so many gutless acts of Barack Hussein Obama !

Bernie will do more for Black AND Working People than obama EVER DID !

  2. I'm unfamiliar with "She the People", but it sounds like Clintonite corporate pink-washing.
It's the same tactic used by predators and mafia for centuries, in which they represented themselves as Christians (who were above reproach), yet were in fact killers and abusers.
Feminism is the new Christianity – the idea of equality has universal appeal, and feminism is beyond reproach, therefore it is a prime candidate for camouflage by corrupt corporatists or female-supremacists or other bigots or anti-democracy, anti-public interest, anti-liberty etc.

  3. I get the frustration because of bad answers and non policies in very specific areas. But what you're asking here is for him to somehow instantly wipe out the existant racism and gender inequality since the dawn of human civilization, with a law, in an already very problematic society. It is not going to happen. The things he proposes will certainly be of great help to these issues though, even if they are not specifically targeted for them, because they will take care of these other problems that contribute.

  4. Holy shit this comment section. Bernie is making a lot of mistakes Hillary made, namely, surrounding himself with people that love him blindly and will never suggest he learn or grow as a candidate.

If you don't understand where black women are coming from, shut up and listen to them. Read a book.

  5. Still time for people to learn about Bernie Sanders proposed policies
People need to work on spreading his message. Bernie has a team working for him. Hopefully they will do better.
What can the Federal government do about white nationalism except arrest terrorists? Not sure what Bernie could say. There are no laws to make people nice.
Bernie's proposed policies would help people. They would be less likely to be incited to hatred of other people as a scapegoat for their problems. Better schools would help.

  6. Bernie the DONKEY has problems period. He's still talking about king and marching. Man go somewhere. This so called rise in white treachery has been here all along, and if he was to do anything it would already be in motion. Don't think it's all going to hinged on black women. Black men have surprise for him……… At this point I would advise him to invest in a rocking chair.

  7. @JLukeman. Does Bernie have a Black Voter Problem, you ask? Yes, he does, and it's not solely because of the counter-narrative being fostered by the typical corporate mediums or the DNCC / Democratic party operatives schlepping for the ruling oligarchs — all of which I totally oppose! Bernie's problem with the 'Black Vote' is because in spite of his best intentions and policy positions regarding the tide of corporate greed, growing economic inequality and diminishing middle-class, and failing healthcare system, Bernie himself seems to not comprehend the complexities of inequality and race within the context of both America's original and contemporary sin, i.e. Slavery itself and the legacy of state and federally engineered second-class citizenship imposed on American Descendants of Slavery (ADOS)! Bernie, let alone most Americans, do not realize that the debt has come due….that 2019 marks the 400th year since enslaved Africans were kidnapped and brought to America! In short, with regards to Restorative Justice, Bernie has yet to articulate a policy that addresses the concerns of Reparation for the Descendants of American Slavery.; Therefore, I will have to say that Bernie Sanders has a real problem with the Black Vote! Thus, Bernie and many other politrickians seeking the " Black Vote " have a lot of real work to do to get it in 2020 and beyond!

  8. She's real. She's intelligent. She's articulate. She makes me yearn for a major channel where she is the major spokesperson. Like seriously. I mean it. Why doesn't TNT have a spokesperson this this? She's exactly what you would look for to get valid information. So of course I love her.l Truth outs.

  9. This woman talks too much, rambles on & on too quickly – she needs to work on it & learn make points clearly – obviously she didn't learn much from Bernie – I can''t get thru this one, all about "her"

  10. Just an effort to smear Bernie. There is no answer that would have satisfied the crowd except to say he would execute all police officers. Blacks it seems like being victims. They dont get it that their problems can be addressed by dealing with poverty from a class perspective. M4A does not ask you skin color. The strength of Bernie in 2016 that is being diluted is that he did not play identity politics. Same New Deal for everyone.

  11. Out of all the progressive channels on youtube this is the only outlet I've seen cover this at all let alone in context. I really appreciate this video. I love Bernie, and I will vote with Bernie again this time. I am a woman and a POC. We criticize the people we love, because A) we already have leverage with them, and B) we want them to be better candidates who can win. Bernie does need to get better answers on race in america today. I think he understands that his economic policies are not going to fix everything for poc, but he needs to articulate that better. However, I think the women in this video are being equally as flippant as the people who say "well Bernie can't single handedly fix racism in America so why ask him." "When they say people not having healthcare isn't making them racist." Nationalist/extremist movements like this have been studied and these studies come to the same conclusions. Economic hardship and insecurity provide fertile environments for these extremist movements to take place. It is more likely that white nationalism ideas are going to be more prevalent in places where wide economic inequalities are present and where access to quality education is lacking. So fixing that with programs like medicare for all in addition to other programs will help with white nationalism.

  12. The suggestion of Sanders rewarding long-time supporters by delving into some advanced topics is spot on.

  13. The person being interviewed never gets to the point and is not concise. @15:00 she finally tries to get her on the point, but then she can't be concise again. @17:00 she finally somewhat gets to it.

  14. It's been exposed that Center For American Progress employees were paid to attend that conference to specifically boo at Bernie (which makes sense that the press had pre-loaded "Bernie's Black Problem" stories ready).

  15. This whole narrative is Bullshit!!!
Real News falling into the trap!!!
Rather than scrutinize every part of his answer, something your ONLY doing with Sanders, as is what's meant to happen by the Smears from the mainstream. Sanders is Far and Away the Candidate with the best interest in mind of African Americans, and Woman!!! Holy Crap!!!! I've been very disappointed with TRN since Ben Norton, and Aaron Mate left…. Makes you wonder why!

  16. I think the lamestream media loves to try to slice the electorate so they'll go to Biden or something. They're trying to foment a manufactured consent for this talking point

  17. WHEN IS THIS SITE GOING TO ASK THE EVERYDAY WORKING BLACK MAN ABOUT HOW THEY FEEL, AND WHAT THEY WANT FROM THEIR POLITICIANS. BLACK WOMEN DO NOT SPEAK FOR BLACK MEN POLITICALLY. ALL YOU GUYS DO IS ASK BLACK WOMEN WHAT THEY WANT. THE ONLY BLACK MAN THAT THEY CARE ABOUT ARE THE ONES THAT COME OUT OF THEIR WOMBS.

  18. For a conversation about an audience being restive with evasive and longwinded answers, La Changa is being incredibly longwinded and not getting to the point. Maybe some black voters should start booing her. You don't have to explain every little thing in detail before answering. People know the little shit already. Thanks.

  19. It was another MSM hit piece with click bait clips.

If women of color were supported by 16 years of Clinton and Obama, then they wouldn't be complaining still today.

You deserve Trump if you think the establishment is better for you than Bernie.

You deserve Congressional lawmakers that are against you, if you think Doug Jones is better for you than Ilhan Omar.

Vote in congress too. If that room is so greatly organized, they would understand which policies have effected their lives, and who has enacted said policies. They would be able to search on YouTube on specific debates in congress and see what Bernie would do.

Platitudes have gotten you to this point. Establishment is platitudes. Bernie is principles, priorities, policy.

    This shouldn't be so hard.
