  1. Defragmentation of occupational morales. Igniting the worlds global empirical forces. International solidarity requires infrastructures that defined how life will be coded. Each covenants precusors showing operational protocols practiced with successful outcomes.

  2. Nothing new here but Cornell West in Socialist mode."The imperial meltdown in the American Empire" you got to give him his props he is a funny wordsmith. Mr. West and Miz Peries call themselves progressives here, when in fact they are extreme left wing democrats. It sounds much nicer to call themselves progressives. Awwwwwww….. .

  3. There were 3 major leaders in the world in WWII.
One was an authoritarian right-wing fascist.
One was an authoritarian communist power-monger.
One was a democratic leader fighting for the working class.

2 are now in the dirt each autocrat belongs along with their evil empire. 1 is now known as one of the greatest man ever lived and his country now is on top of the world. We need more FDRs and less Hitlers and Stalins…

  4. There was not a single sentence uttered by this bolshevik wannabe, that was not a shop-worn cliche of "revolutionary" talk. The interviewer should try to do some interviewing, just for appearances sake, instead of offering her interviewee an extended massage. Nauseating.

  5. Everything Cornel West said was just meaningless and nonsense, just leftist drivel. The shift come from a cause and the shift is the effect. The progressive are losing because the left has gone too far left. Progressives are no longer progressives, they are socialists and communists. The centrist majority are the ones that decide which way the country goes. Under Obama the push was too far left, us centrists do no not want socialism, we do not want communism, we do not want identity politics nonsense. We decide which way the country goes, since there was such as push to the left, the effect is moving to the right. Truth is we did not move that far to the right, the left's shift to the far left has disassociated them with what is left, what is center, and what is right. Calling centrists far right is proof of this.

  6. It just feels like the left keeps getting stabbed in the back by the people who claim to be on the left. We win but everyone with a brain knows it will be overturned some day in the future.

Like the dems leading the liberal cause today (new green policies, anti corruption and etc) but they all know they won't go into law. When the controlled the whole of government, they didn't even try to pass any of these laws (many are in power today).

  7. We will fight for community. That's what we mean when we raise fists! We were grown to disarm Fascists. All the Fash bound 2 lose. We doing this.

  8. To compare bolsonaro with Trump is a mistake. I am older than you are Cornell and I've been opposing War racism and economic elitism longer than you have. I may being picky here but you dress like you were a f**** pimp. Trump is definitely not all good but he is trying to get us out of wars and better relations with Russia what could be wrong with that. I think it's time the left took notice and did the one thing that might help us all. Stop all wars.

  9. Israel occupied by whom. He's a putz. Jews can’t colonize Palestine because you can't colonize colonizers. The Muslim population in Israel is a foreign colonist population. The indigenous Jewish population can resettle its own country, but it can’t colonize it.

Muslims invaded, conquered and settled Israel. They forced their language and laws on the population. That's the definition of colonialism. You can't colonize and then complain that you're being colonized when the natives take back the power that you stole from them.

There are Muslims in Israel for the same reason that there are Muslims in India. They are the remnants of a Muslim colonial regime that displaced and oppressed the indigenous non-Muslim population.

There are no serious historical arguments to be made against any of this..

  10. The shift is because people got a good whiff of that stinking turd that the left offers up and rejects it. That is what is happening….the unified global left over played it's hand. People want to be left alone and allowed to be themselves with people they have common cause with.

  11. I'm from Argentina and I really like this guy. The US need more like him.

Oh and I love when he refers to people as "brothers"

  12. I think that people are turning away from the left because of Identity politics. Identity politics is being exported from the wealthy countries to the poor countries, this I believe turns the poor against the left because they still live a more traditional conservative family life. Also we see rich western leftist trying to control speech and though ex. Canada, If the left wing parties of the third world would ignore western leftists and return to classical marxism then none of this would be happening. But because the west has embraced identity politics instead of classical marxism and exporting this model to the third world we find ourselves in this situation.

  13. I normally want to love what Cornell West has to say. I don't always get satisfaction, though. Well, I haven't listened to this yet. Maybe he will make some sense this time.

  14. What can "progressives" do about it? Accept that the world needs balance and not an unending, non-stop leftward "progression"- that's what cancers do..

  15. Is Dr West's body language suggesting he is attracted to Shamini?
Made her uncomfortable at least once.
    Great discussion.

  16. We have millions of people here in the USA homeless, no health care, no potable water that doesn't have IQ lowering Lead in it yet you pretend as if we have resources to take care of people at the border? These two things do not wash. AFTER & only after the people here aren't living out of boxes can people of this country help externally if you pretend as if we can help people at the border you are victim blaming millions of people here suffering. What did Jesus say help your NEIGHBOR & then extend out from there what you are doing is reaching thousands of miles beyond your neighbor that isn't empathetic, charitable, useful not really it just makes you feel as if you are doing something when all you are doing is lengthening the suffering, increasing the suffering overall.

  17. I hear what you are saying but & this is a big but if we spread ourselves to thin we depend on to great a number of people which makes change almost impossible if not impossible & surely delays it dramatically costing millions upon millions of lives. Each countries people should be working to remove the oligarch puppets & to initiate Direct Democracy since every other form of government is that of people who consider themselves elite-superior & that means they'll treat the majority as their slaves even Socialism is a system controlled by the few pretending to be for the many. If you care about immigrants-refugees then work to ending the oligarchy they are the ones causing these issues SO THAT we cannot unite in our individual countries & remove the puppets. Those who constantly express diversity as being an asset are playing divide & rule FOR the oligarchs this prevents us uniting, understanding the people around us as we have to many different traditions-opinions-ways of speaking etc. which prevent unification hence the curse of Babylon situation we are still going through.
