Ben Norton has a penchant for "asked and answered" questions.
Corporate media, which includes the Guardian is completely shameless. How can they claim to be the fourth estate when they are just operating as the propaganda arm of the establishment? Why don't they look into Assange's claims? Wikileaks has never had to go back on their claims. Wikileaks' claims have always been solid.
The Guarbage is just as inflitrated by anglo-american intelligence as the NYT, WaPo and WSJ. Nothing new there.
Assange is either naive or stupid. You don't publish classified material and mess up with intelligence and/or secret services without putting yourself in a safe place, because those guys have time and resources to come after you. Assange can tell all the stories he wants, but none knows what information the USA and UK intelligence services have on him. More likely they hacked him and know his contacts. If UK has police surveillance 24/7 of Ecuadorian embassy this mean the stakes are high. The options for Assange are staying buried in the embassy till Ecuadorian government allows or ending up in USA jail.
Different story for Edward Snowden, he blew out what he believed to be wrong, escaped to Russia and refused any contacts with the local intelligence, at least for what is known.

Assange has hundreds of thousands of adamant supporters around the world. I doubt that "rioting" non-stop masses of people will allow Assange to spend more than 1 week in a US brig. The people WILL UPRISE in support. I just know it. I want Assange to leave. He needs to have just that one small inner-sensation of courage and trust. We WILL free him! We promise! We need him!

According to Politico Magazine, the Guardian was duped by Russia into running the story. The level of fake news by these supposed reliable news outlets is getting ridiculous. They keep doing it because they get away with it – which will work until it doesn't and people realize that the news outlets lying to them on a daily basis are maybe, after all, the enemy of the people.
The horror of the plight of Julian Assange is a sickening reminder of the brutal strangle hold the US and their disgusting henchmen, the UK and the EU have on the world. The public torture of human beings was very popular in ancient Rome as a means to terrify the population into submission. The face of power has not changed in 2500 years. The US, UK, and EU are still primative thugs without morals, without conscience and without intelligence.
The people of Britain need to rally up in Assange defense as should the Aussie's. This is so wrong!
They have not said they will not extradite him to the US. They said they will not extradite him to a country that will kill him. The US probably said they are only going to put him in solitary confinement for life…the UK has no problem with that.
If he gets free, he will instantly begin wearing a massive target on his back. He needs help from the real people.
