  1. Without any introduction regarding the person you are interviewing here, her background and her scepticism regarding neo-liberal economic reforms being enforced in the Middle East and elsewhere, this interview is essentially without a larger context. Surely, she does not regard the Sisi government as any improvement, but a continuation of the same power structures. Her viewpoints regarding Jordan would also be interesting in this context. The revolts in the Middle East were essentially channeled in the appropriate direction via the immense power of global finance, all of which is essentially based on the power of privatization without any checks and balances from the actual people who live there. The entire Arab world is essentially stuck in feudal structures, ruled by various influential clans, and supported by so-called 'democracies' in the West, solely due to their importance in terms of energy supplies and strategic locations via pipelines (and the disputes regarding those). Meanwhile, neo-liberal economic structures are themselves imposing feudal conditions via mass surveillance on their own populations – via the power of finance capital to usurp the concerns of the vast majority of people globally by fostering a climate of relentless competition – instead of cooperation on the most pressing problems facing all of humanity as a whole. If this continues, then there is little hope. The financialization of nature, a la Davos, and 'corporate responsibility' is nothing but a sham, as is the entire trans-human propaganda involving the colonization of space by the 'brightest minds' via Silicon Valley and their global counterparts elsewhere. I am not all a religious person, but some humility may be called for when the Gods of global finance start singing the praises of uploaded brains visa vi what is actually happening here on this planet.

  3. Any country that falls into the international monetary Vulture's fund and the "structural adjustment" never recovers its independence.

  4. Good Riddance, another Arab Tyrant who ruled against his own people for Decades will leave this world with No Legacy and will be forgotten like a Fly killed by a fly swatter and thrown in a pit of Fire to cleanse the land of Disease.

  6. Mubarak was removed by revolution, but Morsi was removed by coup? Morsi was removed by popular revolt as well, after he granted himself decree powers beyond the constitution. There were huge protests demanding his removal and also a new cabinet. The "coup" was when no one serious was allowed to run against Sisi.

  7. The extreme result of Colonialism… a North African nation that no longer looks like an African nation… it now resembles a Eurasian population….
