I used to be a big supporter of the police in general but after seeing so many police break the law, violate rights, fabricate evidence and so forth, so I cannot trust police any longer. I have seen first hand how low they will go at times. Most communities would be better off with a reduced police presence.

If he is now a convicted felon, then at the MINIMUM, all of his guns must be confiscated. No debate, no discussion. If he touches a gun, it is a FEDERAL felony. Also, now that he is a convicted felon, doesn't that preclude him from even having a badge anymore?
