The candidates were divided on whether to tax the rich or expand wealth. This was at the heart of the debate, but it missed central points

  1. It didn’t just come out this week that Amazon made 11bill paying 0 in fed taxes. Yang has been saying this for a year now

  2. Why highlight Harris whose line was lame and rehearsed? Also there was nothing to love about Yang's debunked Russiagate response to the stupid question about a phone call with Putin. his was the worst debate of the five. Warren was not challenged on her terrible foreign policy and her support of Trump's economic warfare against Venezuela. Booker can't tell the difference between wanting to be an "entrepreneur" by starting a mom & pop business and being a capitalist entreprenuer investing millions of dollars. The problem with these debates has nothing to do with the number of people on the stage. The problem is the format is a gameshow format, not a debate format. A debate format asks a question and gives all candidates equal time to respond. This game show format allows the moderators to control who gets more time, more questions, and what issues they can talk on. This is a faux debate not worthy of being called a debate.

  3. This show "The Real News.com" I feel they dont see all the candidates. All these candidates they showed, I had heard what they said from other politicians from different time of election and nothing really had changed. These politicians will say "tax these, tax them" but it won't happen.

I saw a candidate who has solution in these issues and never been mentioned in this video. So, I assume that this youtube channel is depending on corporation's donations on top of viewers donation.

  4. The main problem is these candidates was at a black conference acting as if they were talking to whites and people of color. Black people aren’t stupid we know when your directly talking specifics to us.

  5. The dude complained about only one of four moderators being a black woman. Pivots to panel of three where one is a black woman. Then goes right to attacking Harris and Booker and asks one of the white guys what he thinks.

  6. Warren's 2 cent tax on billionaires is laughable, enough to make her seem like a laughing stock, and that's to the point that I definitely want her for US President. It's surprising that anyone could come up with such an idea.

  7. Thanks to the one person who mentioned how the debate obscured the extremes of the "divide," such as Sander's BILLIONAIRES SHOULD NOT EXIST. I agree with Sander's statement, too, but I also believe that those who fight to keep their power and keep power from the people should be hanged. So let's do that.

  8. Where’s Huey Long when we need him?! Or Martin L. King?! We need a real live fire breathing radical on that stage to inject a little reality into this corporate media stage-managed farce!! Sanders is much too tame. He has got to attack the others forcefully, stop being nice to them.

  9. Steiner starts off asking for comment from his "panel" on the quintessential question of Black empowerment and look how all three outright downplayed its importance. Branko from Canada sums it up to "typical democrat triangulation" and says that free college and universal healthcare will have "staggering positive effect" on Black communities which is more of the same vague rising tide lip service that's always given. Luke, also from Canada, concurs with Branko and sums up Bookers point as "typical 90s rhetoric" and Kim (my goodness) really brings the letdown home with the "Black Women" feminist mainstay that's obviously the preferred talking point to the democrats when it comes to the Black Community as a whole. Kudos to Steiner for his astute starting point to this discussion. The democrats are all in on trying to circumvent the Black vote because they do not intend on giving Blacks as a whole Tangible legislation. Kudos again to Steiner for bringing it up and pointing it out.

  10. Why does TRNN break these interviews up into shorter segments? The videos aren't even monetized! When you have 4 people on, just make it an hour long show.

  11. Fifth debate?! Boris Johnson has dropped out of debates after experiencing his first and only debate against Jeremy "let's have kinder politics" Corbyn while his party was on Twitter pretending to be an independent fact-checking site. And people are voting for Johnson to lead trade talks? #KillThemWithKindness #JC4PM #ForTheMany #GTTO

  12. Minimum wage needs to be 18.00/hr now! I went to the grocery store and I can't believe how expensive food prices are, it's ridiculous!

  13. 2 cent tax is a joke. Let's be honest corporations always want hand outs and expect to pay no taxes, while working class people are over taxed. You people are a joke, stop sucking America's nipples dry with out taking us to dinner first. The tax breaks shouldn't go to multi billion dollar tax breaks.

  14. I am almost entirely convinced that in order to see what would make this a better country/world is not to watch the videos like these, no matter how good, fair, or indifferent they are–yes, watch them–but the real wisdom is found in an overarching summation of the Comments. Mine included.

  15. doesnt booker have a hedge fund to run somewhere? cant we have a non sell out black candidate? please! same with kamala, i loved saving muchin harris!

  16. Same tired debates and commentary! When are you all going to start learning and talking about MMT, Modern Monetary Theory? It’s the reality of our current economic system. We could do a lot more than you think. First off, Federal taxes do not pay for federal programs! It’s brand new money that pays for federal programs. Federal taxes are deleted from the economic system, they pay for nothing!! Start there and learn more! We have no limit money-wise to spending, we can pay for it all!

  17. Yea – let’s help all blacks to become “kaki-Lima” entrepreneurs so we can tax them back to poverty while the elite continue to avoid the slightest tax on their wealth…?

  18. Booker is just mimicking Andrew Yang, who is the only real choice for change. All of the leading dems are more Republican than progressive Democrat.

  19. People create Economy or the Kings or wealthy Elites only? …. America don't fight against the England King and Elites … USA not Existing!

  20. Yang and Booker are the two politicians for entrepreneurs and Sanders and Warren are the two politicians for families. Buttigieg, Klobachar, Biden and Harris are not quite distinguished in the battle between business and people. Gabbard's main strength is pulling troops out of conflict. Who can establish the environment and healthcare better should have the overall edge. But if a Democrat wins the country will be in a recession or just beginning one. They will have a fight like Obama to stimulate the economy but a harder one because Trump has made taxes too low to really do much so I expect the tax rate to stay the same. In the meantime, the Republicans will blame the deficit on the democrats helping the poor and they will fight raising taxes to cut the deficit. The US financially is in bad shape. Trump, like the last Bush, is handling the national debt like an 18 year old with a credit card with a $20,000 limit. That $8,000 spending in one month is going to be a really big bill the next month. All the economic success for companies is because the US is not paying for the borrowing and the companies and the wealthy are hoarding the cash. But Republicans always do that for the wealthy and corporations. Mississippi is the poorest state in the nation because the Republicans only look after those with money and businesses.

  21. homeboy, "the lack of substance in the debates" has nothing to do with there being "too many people on the stage". it has to do with the complete and utter disservice and rot of the mainstream media and the nonsense grade school questions. they went to warren 5 times and amy 4 times in the first 32 minutes while ignoring Yang completely, who typically has the more substantive responses. how can you explain this: https://vocal.media/theSwamp/a-visual-history-of-the-yang-media-blackout

  22. That's a bit misleading the way he's talking about Bernie taking money from billionaires that's not the case, what is proposing to a greater taxation for billionaires than lower incomes and not give them benefits like the can get at the moment because of loopholes in the law like tax avoidance. Plus it helps the economy if billionaires very rich people want to save their money they have to pump it into businesses to protect their wealth it's a good thing

  23. 🌞Go to Bernie Sanders YouTube channel🌞 tells you everything you want to know❎✌
don't forget you have to register in some States no later than early December with the democrat party so check, if you are not registered and you want to support and vote for Bernie. If the 99 percent get their act together we can get Bernie into power and he will do great things for this country. you should not be fearful of Fear itself.

  24. ADOS KNOWS WE'VE BEEN SCREWED SUPPOETING THIS PARTY FOR DECADES. I am 60…REPARATIONS NOW!!
They have written incarceration laws against JUST US.
They have redliined us into ghettos with drafts and nobody gives a damn in this COUNTRY if mold, respiratory infections occur from building sicknes WHICH WE DEFINATELY KNOW ABOUT BUT AREN'T ALLOWED IN THOSE JOBS TO KEEP THE CRAP ON THE DOWN LOW.
We know that party turns a deaf ear to US/ADOS AFRICAN DESCENDANTS OF SLAVES SOON AS THE LAST TALLY IS IN. WE haven't heard anything but hateful extremes against our children, elderly, fathers, uncles daughters KILLED NEEDLESSLY BY THOSE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT CITIZENS.

WE KNOW THIS NATION THAT REARED ITSELF ON OUR ANCESTOR'S KNARLED KNUCKLES AND CONCEALED MADNESS OVER THE WHOLE CONDITION OF SLAVERY THAT CONTINUES TO THIS DAY, GIVE NOT A TINKER'S DAMN ABOUT THE SLAVE DESCENDANTS.

Well… WE are too big to put under a blood soaked rug. The vaccines that cause autism in our sons by 345% compared to other infants will not continue. The GENOCIDE OF OUR PEOPLE, THE KILLING OF OUR PEOPLE, THE MISTREATMENT OF OUR PEOPLE MUST END AND OUR REPAIRING TO BEGIN.

Backed in a corner for 464 years, is NOT GOD'S PLAN NOW FOR US!!!
LIKE IN EGYPT WHEN MY ANCESTORS BROKE COVENANT, GOD SAYS: "LET HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE GO!!!"
WE MUST BE MADE WHOLE NOW, NOT WHEN YOU THINK WE CAN STAND ONE MORE DEATH OF OUR NATION.
NOW, SO WE HAVE A CHOICE TO LEAVE THIS PRISON OUR ANCESTORS CAME TO LONG AGO. THERE ARE NO RESPECTFUL LEARNING INSTITUTIONS WITHOUT RACE SOLDIERS/MODERN DAY PADDIE ROLLERS ATTACKING US IN THE STREETS. INSULTING US IN THE STREETS. BODY SLAMMING OUR BABIES IN THE SCHOOL UNPROTECTED BY THEIR PARENTS.
    HELL NO
THIS HAS GONE ON UNDER THE DEMOCRATIC WATCH FOR TOO LONG
THE VOTE HAS BEEN TAKEN FOR GRANTED
THE TREATY WITH THE PARTY "BROKEN."

ADOS IS NOT THE DEMOCRATIC TAMPON vote.

  25. For the host's first point, if Booker wanted to say blacks/browns are interested in getting a bigger part of the gpd pie, he used the wrong terms. Economic growth is just increasing gpd, economic development would be how is the pie divided among the population. He did not outline any actual ideas, just floated words that sounded nice like greater opportunity and job growth.

  26. The government owes ADOS a debt and that's reparations that's not a handout black folks don't like handouts pay the debt cut the check and so on.

  27. The Dumbocrats really think Black people like me will be going out to vote for them? After literally saying "we're focusing on the Hispanic voters…" and saying NO to Reparations. HA! You screwed us long enough. Bye Felicia

  28. What about all the welfare the white farmers are getting and these greedy corporations socialism for the rich no socialism for the middle class, especially not the poor.

  29. Given that every candidate in the debate has pledged to endorse the nominee – who will obviously be selected by the super delegates – the "deep divide" is clearly just a ruse to sucker people into sticking with the Democratic wing of the corrupt duopoly. Shame on you.
