  1. One question to sara Nelson.
Does she even knows anything about the Green new deal?
Green new deal means an end to air travel.
    Is she ok with it?
Is she ok with de industrialization?
    I don't personally think so.

  2. I wouldn't take a sky waitress's word for much. She and her flight crew ilk are perfectly happy destroying lives on the ground around airports and destruction of the planet as a whole for profit. @stopcltnoise and thousands of others on Twitter is sure pissed about it.

  3. The Green New Deal is a joke. It wasn't created as climate policy, it was a plan to move our economy toward a socialist one.
Let's also talk the obvious, this is a flight attendant union, they aren't the ones who'll have to actual re/build our infrastructure.
That's why the trade unions came out against it.
Lastly, wasn't AOC knocking air travel and pushing to replace a lot of it with trains? hilarious!

  4. I've seen various videos of Ms. Nelson speaking. She absolutely knows her stuff, articulates it clearly, and makes connections that many do not immediately make, but are vital to the goal of strong worker protections.

When she's ready to hang up her wings, I hope she seriously considers a political career. She is needed.

Maybe a Sanders administration would place her somewhere in the Department of Labor where she'd be effective.

  5. How about we just force the airports to pay their own taxes instead of tax payers or just change it from a "private" to a "public" service and let everyone fly for free.

  6. Flight Attendants are very lucky to have such leadership in Sara Nelson! Capitalism has failed working people, and government, both parties, has backed Wall Street at the expense of workers. Go Bernie, AOC, and "The Green New Deal"!

  7. Very competent president of the union. Very articulate without the normal b.s. Leaders commonly use. I do agree with comments to this interview that point out, saving jobs and creating them is a secondary concern.

  8. none of you comprehend climate change.
our entire way of life is inherently unsustainable. "jobs" and "standard of living" Do NOT belong in this conversation, if we truly want to survive.

    Address The DELUSION Of Dualism.

  9. Greenwashing New Deal. Come on TRNN when are you going to realise that capitalism (socialism for the rich) can not come up with the answers to reign itself it?

  10. This was a wonderful interview. I feel hopeful. Perhaps this union representative should be in President Sanders cabinet. 😉 it would be very hard for that union to find another leader to replace her but the interviewer shows that there are loads of wonderful strong women ready to go so – yep. It's a plan.

  11. The SJWs and enviromentalists should form a party for themselves, so us people in the real left can have something to vote for.
I am tired of having my important issues constantly pushed aside by non-leftwing clowns.

  12. I think they should rename the green new deal to "The Green leap forward".
This plan is just as insane, overambitious and detached from reality as Mao's the great leap forward.
