  1. Absolutely fantastic interview on the effect and affect of present term and generational trauma within black communities and particularly among among black women!

  2. This is a poison should not be allowed into the Black community. We have fought the poison of psychiatry like the poison of religion. Both ,have been used as part of beast of racism. Black people who go into this profession must make sure they do not become the Negro preacher of psychiatry Malcolm X addressed. Black women will be medicated and counseled to cope and not to fight against racism. She will pass the dependency on mind altering drugs as the dependency on prayer with religion.

She has been in therapy for many years. Thus therapy doesn't work. The professional repeats what she read in a book like a Bible. Black people will become as weak as white women who have for centuries been abused by psychiatry. She's making our response to racism a mental illnes thus compounding racism. Hyper sexuality is a century old racist sterotyping of Black people.

  3. WWII seriously messed up my grandparents. Their mental turmoil was transmitted to their children (my parents) via very dysfunctional upbringings. And then I was raised by those mentally scared parents. If one damaged generation can have that kind of impact, I cant even imagine what hundreds of years of turmoil can do.

  4. Superb interview that I hope is widely shared. Despite the profound effects of complex trauma on mental, physical, and social health, it's too often missing from our discussions of social issues.

  5. The only reason we forgive is because we dont have any power to get revenge. If you keep forgiving they will continue abuse, l lost lots of freinds by saying we should take revenge were possible and l am called an extremist for saying we as a people not keep being tolerant of mistreatment.

  6. I doubt slavers and the cops knew this but they definitely knew their actions manipulated behavior.
The chaos they made in me wants to see it all burn. The love in me makes me want to correct this horror by any means possible

  7. Our oppressors knew that stress has effects on unborn babies of any race. But they really stuck it to us and the effects are still in play today.

  8. Yes real news. By the time black women reach the age of 20 we have already experience at least 80 times the stress as our " counter parts".
