How Big Tech and the GOP fueled the rise of QAnon

1. It amazing that so many people on here are not aware that the government is restricted from stopping speech, not private businesses. Another point is a African American those of you that are white can say free speech tell you blue in the face, because you don't have to worry about the violence being visited upon you. You show your healthiness for your fellow citizen due to their color. You are not the ones in danger. You are not the one that will be killed in the streets and homes of the black and brown communities.

2. Wrong: Russia gate is as much a conspiracy theory as the QAnon, except the former is designed and supported by official US propaganda machines while the latter is more fringe. That so-called "progressives"[sic] continue to believe US propaganda at the expanse of true internationalism (as the US left did in the 60's and 70's) is illustrative of their failure to change their society.

3. QAnon is such a digression. It is one of those things that is so devilishly childish — yet is so beguiling to those who fall far this sort of thing. Why do they fall for it? Because on some level there is a grain of half-truth to it — not literally, but in an analogous way.

   Our government has obviously committed throughout its entire history huge atrocities, such as the genocide of the Native Americans, or the invasion and occupation of Vietnam, or being allies with the Indonesian government under the dictator Suharto, who first killed around 1 million in his own country, and then around 250,000 or more in Timor-Leste.

   So yes, mainstream politicians like Democrats (and Republicans) were (and are) part of what can only be described as Satanic and Evil. But it had nothing to do with a "cult" (unless you can describe the whole country as a cult!). And there is nothing secret about it. Or new.

   But it has nothing to do with (per se at least) with pedophilia or cannibalism (except as an apt adjective).

   It is so childish and stupid — just like 98 percent of the population who never care or question its military industrial policies whatsoever. It even knows about the US government's friendliness to Saudi Arabia which is helping starve millions in Yemen, yet evinces not the slightest pang of conscience (nor does the rest of the world, such such as Europe or Asia etc.).

   So it isn't just Trump, as truly horrible as he and his followers are. It is the majority of the human race, including even many whom we otherwise justifiably love and respect for other positive qualities that they exude and manifest. So I'm not trying to say that there are no gray areas — but within that spectrum of gray areas there nonetheless remain stark, satanic realities that are consistently ignored, decade after decade, century after century, around the entire globe.

Unable to hide the truth, the powers that be had to embrace a different tactic, that being to flood the internet with misinformation and disinformation. Q is the perfect platform for just such an operation.

I could go into so many conspiracy facts it would make your head spin! Two of the simplest: Oswald simply could not have taken the number of shots (with the gun he had) in the time he was supposed to have taken them! Building 7 on 911 was not even mentioned in the 911 Commission Report! The University of Alaska Fairbanks just looked at the fall of Building 7, and they said that the explanation of office fires was not possible!

14. According to a recent liberal poll 24% of Americans either fully support Q or think he is onto something but may go too far. That's 80 million Americans.
