How Quickly Would Julian Castro Transition the US to 100% Renewables?

1. What is needed done.
   1st Strong treaties and laws to reduce greenhouse gas.
   2nd Do Manhattan Project like for reducing greenhouse gas.
   3rd To do a New Deal like or Green New Deal to set everything up.
   3rd a: eliminate all fossil fuel power plant and factory, and replace them with solar, wind, wave, and geothermal plants and factory.
   3rd b: remove CO2 from the atmosphere and lock it up. Best way is to have "factory" that breed algae. Then process the algae and then put them in old mines.
   3rd c: remove methane from the atmosphere, though this will be harder then CO2.
   4th Still prepare for the worst. This include gathering seed from all edible plants. Collect DNA and cells from all species so maybe we can reintroduce them later. Build leves, to protect coastal cities and countries. Have a plan for the refugee and population movement. Ready a space program to move some people to Moon and then Mars. Try to rehab ecosystem, especially rain forest, coastal swamp and marsh, coral reef. These help buffer area from hurricane and extreme weather, as well as take CO2 out of the atmosphere.

8. So the answer is 2050. Because if you have to provide a 20 year window starting 11 years out clearly you don't take the 12 year window starting in 2018 that the world scientists presented seriously. No thank you we need politicians who actually understand scheduling based on science.
