From medicare for all to neoliberal tax subsidies for major corporations the mainstream media often bolsters the notion that a more fair and equitable society is not possible

  1. Very good but there is one thing incorrect. Trump is not (or was not in January 2017) a billionaire. He is a billionaire wannabe. Trump is a personification of public wealth funneled to private (crooked) interests.

  2. "Trump's people caused this!"… Is democrat stronghold run by democrats. Scapegoating Trump for 50 years of bipartisan corruption and incompetence while ignoring the actual culprits is a big part of why a lot of people are turning away from the media. Is Trump at least partially complicit and does he benefit from it? Definitely. But he's still done more for the working class than any other President in living memory.

You can hate Trump all day but the fact that he's still better than the alternatives is evidence enough of just how fvcked everything is; and trying to prop Trump up as some supervillain (like the msm has been doing) isn't gonna change anything. Getting rid of Trump will solve nothing; our societal problems are systemic and entrenched; The political system is fully bought and paid for and has been since at least the 70s; and the only way this changes is complete collapse, violent revolution, or a complete change in the ideological paradigm which the ruling class adheres to.

(I'm not betting on the latter tbh; and the result of either of the former is likely to be as bad or worse than the status quo. We're between a rock and a hard place here with no real way forward; well, none that doesn't end in our enslavement or extinction, anyway, excluding anything miraculous).

  3. Thank you guys. That was an awesome eye opening report. I am appalled but not surprised. This pattern happens everywhere in all areas of our lives. It is the system, and it must change.

  4. "enterprise zones" are just another elitist scam. its disguised as a "program" to entice developers to invest in low income communities but in fact its just another means to lower elitist taxes and allows them to do as they please and make yet make more money for themselves. capitalism IS WEALTH RE-distribution. not socialism. capitalism STEALS your money and social funds and funnels it to the wealthy. it takes money from those who NEED it and gives it to those who don't. capitalism is legalized gangsterism; its extortion and theft based economics. socialism lets YOU benefit from your social contribution while capitalism FORCES you to work for the benefit of the elite.

  5. Bernie Sanders owns three homes

Joe Biden rents a house for $20,000/month and owns two others

Barack Obama has a mansion and a $15 million compound in Martha’s Vineyard

How did they make all their money?

Lecturing average Americans on income inequality

  6. Nailed it! I’ve been wondering when some one outside of Dr. Richard Woolfe was gonna question these ideals that these developers always say about job growth! You guys found out the same thing he did! There is no real way to measure it! That’s why the make the claim to begin with!

  7. Try telling that to union members who continue to support companies or presidents who has no interest for them or that cares less about them.

  8. Call a spade a spade. These companies that get these tax breaks offer jobs to undocumented workers at a fraction of the wages an American citizen would get further depreciating the markets. This is all a game.

  9. Taya Cool ! But I have weaned myself OFF TRNN since they Never mention Major Gabbard.
And I have'nt seen a thumbnail with Mr Conway lately either !
Convo Coach divulged tyt got 20 mill from corporatist ! Et vous ?

  10. The accumulated wealth of our 1% is 50% larger than our entire GDP and is currently demanding a rate of return which exceeds annual GDP growth. To pay a nominal rate of return (5%), our oligarchy has already seized the entire sum generated by U.S. GDP growth in 2018 plus an additional 1/2 trillion dollars extracted from U.S. workers, demands that purposefully designed to collapse our democracy . . . and they are exporting this policy abroad wherever they find

  11. Matthew 25: 31-46
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
for I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not me.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

  13. Income and wealth are not the same thing. Income is what you earn. Wealth is what you own minus what you owe.

It helps to have wealth after your income runs out.

  14. I am also disturbed about the crazy income inequality in the US and other countries. However, I do wonder that if say all American workers were getting 3 times their income, would this not result in a crazy increase in climate change? So many more citizens would want the big gas guzzler and drive so much more, bigger houses, more travel to tourist destinations,… more consumption. Don’t think income inequality is healthy for a society, especially when so many are actually desperate. You see this in China where there is a growing middle class. But the possibility of worse climate change is an issue to think about.

  15. “Inequality watch” without mentioning Black people, white people or white supremacy. 😒😒😒 oh how about an #ADOS anchor to report on the conditions there?! No! just 3 non black ADOS people to point at Trump and say “bad” without prescriptive or critique of the democratic leadership there. smh fail. i downvoted this video. you’re all welcome.
