From eliminating the filibuster to pushing through much-needed $2k COVID-19 relief checks, conservative and centrist Democrats like Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema are standing in the way of crucial legislative actions that would allow the party to make good on its campaign promises. Fearing this will result in electoral backlash, progressive groups like No Excuses PAC are working to hold Democrats’ feet to the fire, including running ads and recruiting primary challengers to pressure Sens. Manchin and Sinema. No Excuses PAC co-founder (and former AOC and Bernie Sanders staffer) Corbin Trent joins Jaisal Noor to talk about how supporting the status quo may cost Democrats the next election.

  1. I've come to the conclusion that the Dems don't really like to be in power, and their long term plan is to continue being a losing party because that's what their big contributors have instructed them to do. All the Dems in power have only two real need's —
Their title or position , and their pension plan. Sorry folks, the Dems losing the senate and the congress in 2022, is already set in stone.

  2. Bro they’re going to find a way to screw you over no matter how much money you raise. Ask Sanders and his army of Congress candidates! If you don’t accept that, then you’re probably just trying to divert us to the polls and false hopes. We need to say fuck these fake-ass elections and storm the Bastille already!

  3. David Icke was right……this is so fake Reublicans vs DemonRats left vs Right keep the slaves bussy give them circus and bread so they dont rebel !

  4. Good points. One more is key. The wealthy donors own a lot of Congress persons who care more about their seats than their people!

  5. I think you're getting this wrong. The Dems are going to protect Manchin as if he was the golden child. With him around, the Dems have an excuse not to do anything at all.

  6. Two party system is good cop, bad cop and it’s hard to tell which plays what role. They are both conspiring together to block help to Americans just at the very least. They are both obstructionists in this regard and how most people miss this is sad.

  7. This guy's argument for the Republicans is also true for Democrats, but he will not say it. Overall, it is an illustration of the insanity of the US political system where so-called "progressives" (rather nationalistic and not opposed to the US empire) like him believing that by using the same tactics will, somehow, lead to different results….

  8. We need a third party now, not two parties that are both owned by the same corporate donors. And the ones who don't take corporate money end up voting for and up supporting the ones that do, cough ''PELOSI". I will never vote Democrat again, ever!

  9. Brilliant strategy to get those lame Senators and House representatives back working for the people. Activism in action. Love it!

  10. The only thing the Dems. talk about, is how they can make people's life's better for their citizens. The only thing that can make the people's life's better, is if the government stops propping up the people, and force them to go out and earn the best living they can, and go to work, every day, as most successful Americans have done for a couple of centuries and more. People need to stop asking, what can the government do for me, and start thinking, what they can do, to improve their own lives.
