  1. If I ran a city in the interest of the Majority, what would I do, ask the majority what needs to be done and then it would be discussed, reviewed, planned and carried out, the will of the majority being acted upon.
A leader in a democracy is meant to be a follower not a leader, meant to chair discussions, where others talk, giving all a fair opportunity to speak and then acting upon the most recognised consensus.
So in affect I have no idea what I would do, as the majority has not yet had the opportunity to decide what is appropriate.

  2. As for that first quote… about white kids with playgrounds and skate board parks. That same argument was made here in Dayton OH about surrounding communities.
Those surrounding communities had a much higher tax base. People paying taxes not taking them
So we built a skate park, we built a 1 million dollar swim park, we put 3 new playgrounds in, 7 years later…..
    (1) Skate park closed due to gang activity
    (2) Pool closed permanently because of constant vandalism
    (3) All three of those parks stay empty of children. All you will find there is teenagers and young adult, and not the type anyone would go strike up a conversation with.
