  1. Yall better check the history of virginia and see how them Piedmont tribes were enslaved and reclassified as negro….The american Indian is the american negro

  2. Is this lady being interviewed supposed to be native American? In Bolivia she would be part of the European elite in case she is even claiming to be native American. And no native American would celebrate Thanksgiving unless they are complete morons.

  3. Beware of anti Indigenous American Afrocentric and Eurocentric troll factories attacking the blood-lines of Native America and Indigenous status for their sick racial, religious and political agenda. We call them "culture vultures"!

  4. Common Native stereotypes debunked:

The majority of businesses owned by Natives are Casinos?
There are over 250,000 Native American owned and operated businesses with only less than 300 Casinos. All these businesses generate hundreds of billions for Tribes, counties, cities, states, and nationally and internationally. The most successful sectors are construction, agriculture, natural gas production, renewable energy production, casinos and resorts, hotel chains, real estate, service, aerospace, arts and crafts, fashion and manufacturing. Native People own and operate nearly all types of businesses in the USA. The Natives of Canada, USA and Bolivia have the largest Indigenous economies and business development. But we are seeing a rise of Indigenous economies in Peru, Greenland, Mexico, Guatemala, parts of the Amazon and some other regions. There are also hundreds of self sufficient Native communities in the Americas who live off the land, practicing customs and still have the traditional Tribal governments, to me, they are not poor or live in poverty.

    Natives are a dying race?
Nah, we are actually the fastest growing population in the USA due to the highest birth dates and immigration from Latin America. Infact the Natives are among the fastest growing populations in the Americas due to high birth rates and the regeneration of identity and heritage. There are currently 20 million Natives in North America and 50 million across Latin America.

Are Natives one Group with one look and central culture?
Nah, we are very diverse. I know when most people think of Indigenous Americans, they think of the Lakota, Cherokee, Apache, Navajo, Aztec, Mayans, Inca and the Amazon Tribes. We are all a part of over 1,300 Tribes and Nations with a few thousand cultures.

Are the Natives the poorest and poverty stricken?
Yes and no, it depends on the region or community. There are poverty stricken areas, working class areas, middle class areas and wealthy areas. In the United States and Canada the Natives have the highest rate of poverty at 25%, but also have the fastest growing economy in the USA while being the 2nd wealthiest Minority behind Asains in North America. Natives have fought for rights and opened doors for each other and created civil-rights and increased Automony. But Natives continue to be the most marginalized, attacked and discriminated in the Americas. Much more work needs to be done!

  5. Tara isn't an indigenous indian.Tara looks like a colonizer by phenotype.

The Wompanoag tribe are carmel colored indigenous peoples. The Pilgrims were met by chocolate indigenous "indians".

Tara isn't carmel coated at all. She's native but not indigenous.

The "indians" of the west were dark skinned people.Look at actual photos from thar time.
Today's "indians" sure have much much lighter skin than 150 years ago.

The Buffalo Soldiers fought against dark skinned "indians".

Why are "indians" not dark anymore ?

  6. Chinook helicopter, Apache helicopter, Cherokee jeep, are these indian tribes names, were these approved by the indian people and why? There is a university that had to change the name of its basketball team, i think, because the indian people took offense. What is the difference between naming a team and naming (killing) machinery? Just a question.

  7. The Rhode Island colony ate one of its own white girls. Cannibalism to survive. There are many myths the world absorbs from the beginning of time. There is the scalping of humans, shamanistic black magic, etc etc etc etc. Happy Thanksgiving one and all.

  8. Wow I'm a Native. Why stir the pot. Some people focus on negative propaganda. Happy Thanksgiving everyone

  9. You should’ve had chief Robert Long Walker on ur show, he did the longest walk with Leonard Peltier, and Russell means and he still alive he’s almost 100 years old. He has a Facebook page and he can be located in California.

  10. But why is the month of November used to celebrate the indigenous ppl, out of all months; seems as though it should be used to celebrate white folks. And indigenous ppl should have all 12 months.

  11. So you're admittedly going to low-key feast with your friends on a day you now know commemorates the destruction of your people and you want my help in furthering your polital causes? You must hate your people-perfectly. #wakeupJacob

  12. Look at the indian picture you have on the screen like trump said they don't look like indians to me or to you they are practicing the indian culture but are nor the original race of the aboriginals.

  16. I'm glad that's brought to the attention of the United States has failed in every aspect to uphold treaties with native people and their Lands

  17. A decendant of a 5 dollar Indian. If you want to get closer to the truth interview a copper colored(so called black) indigenous person…… They are out there not hard to find when you want to look.

The owners of the redskins tried to show you the real hue of the people but as always propoganda sells…. And they call themselves the real news network.

  18. Don't let your children believe the bastardized history. We are a killing, war mongering group of people.
Now we have a president that cuts out paper dolls and puts his face in them. WTF. Pray that he goes to a nursing home asap.

  19. i have family knowledge of hugely known events between settlers and Native Americans in New York, such as the trade (theft) of long island land from the natives. my family is even seen in the tapestry depicting that trade that still is hanging in long island main library branch

  20. Isnt referring to them as Indians supposed to be offensive? Both host and guest have referred to them as such, was always taught that they're supposed to be called Native Americans.
