Sad that "The Real News Network" misrepresents the invasions into Libya as Civil War. I am unable to figure what TRNN's agenda is. Because of reporting like this, I don't frequent this source.
Several of the comments on this topic in the Al Jazeera English posts are about Libya not having oil. I wonder what information goes around in Libya? This report makes support for the 2 sides clear. I don't see that happening in other media on this topic, except that Turkey supports the UN backed government.
But….wasn't the destruction of the country's infrastructure the goal? As we have done in all the Middle East? Those children raised by exhausted and cornered parents, they are the goal. They know nothing of their country's history and know only disruption and destruction and fear. They are the target population by the western world's promises of a new future.
Like the residue of the three generation asset evisceration that took place here in the US, our and their grandchildren will not know job security or home ownership of land.
WE talk of the possibility of WWIII but the actuality is that the war has been ongoing for 20 years.
As for gov sharing agreements, the history of the western world is rife with these and the subsequent explanation for the violent division of the country is that same gov-sharing that failed. It merely is a respite for the population to build up.
The US is envied and feared both as an example of Manifest Destiny– if its not separated by water its ours—and the ability to keep it once its acquired. We are the war child of the British Empire.
We are on top of that glass mountain so in spite of satellite expansion by the rest of the world, our position is secure.
We fear nothing except the true state of science –PLASMA –and have derailed true science into pointless gravity and dark energy while the military frantically shakes the science cage in the hope some hidden gem will fall into our lap in lieu of the hubris of nuclear energy.

Haftar is working with the ONLY legitimate government in Libya which is NOT the GNA. The real Libyan people's government is the House of Representatives set up by the Libyan Tribes. The Tribes don't trust Haftar, but are using his military expertise to clean the country of foreign terrorists. The GNA is a FALSE government set up by the USA/NATO UN coalition of thieves.
Russia has had little to no involvement in Libya since NATO started the war in 2011 in order to steal libyan oil, iron, gold and rare earth minerals.
