2. Those cases are abominable, first in the church and everywhere they occur.

   Sin in general should not be tolerated among people having responsibility in the church. The letters of John clearly establishes that the one who has the Son, does not live in sin.

   The Bible establishes that sin must be removed violently, meaning inmediately it is known. Sin should not be allowed to sleep among believers.

   When people are challenged by sins out their control, they should not be allowed to minister. They are sick and need to allow God to deal with their sinful nature before they can lead others.

7. One, this man listed many changes, marriage, women ordained, homosexuality. Just one, priest marrying, is a major change, and will take generations to work through. So slow down.
   With marriage, there’s only a couple of times the Paul, who believed that Jesus would be back in his lifetime or at least by the next generation, SUGGESTED, that it would be easier to make the way of the Lord if we remained single.
   BUT WITH homosexuality, there is a ton of very strong, DEFINITIVE language against it. So, we cannot paint all the types of changes with the same brush.
   We must stop worrying about sin, and concentrate on whether or not behavior make GOD HAPPY. Remember. We are supposed to LOVE GOD.The focus is on HIM. Worrying about sin, because it’s a sort of tally, or score one must account for, puts the focus on you. Fearing for your soul or life is a far cry all the way to the opposite side away from love, and loving him.

14. On the power and influence of the church – it's not merely soft power that influences elections. Catholics run the largest non-government network of schools and hospitals in the world. They have homeless shelters and food banks. Their misogyny and homophobia is made manifest in practical policy that affects real people in their daily lives. Denying women abortions in religious hospitals is an exertion of their power. Suppressing pro-lgbt messaging among students is too. It's not just abstract, it's not just "influence."

15. I agree. Sex offenders should be reported to the proper authorities.
    If an investigation proves that the victim was telling the truth the
    priest or clergyman must be arrested the same as any citizen and
    given no special treatment just because he wears a robe and carries
    a cross and a skull cap and be incarcerated, judged by a court of law.
    The Catholic Church or whatever religion he is from must do its part
    and excommunicate the offender and have nothing more to do with
    him. Stripping him of all privileges and publically, to shame him be-
    fore the congregation, announce his dismissal from any further
    srevices and association with any church member upon his release
    from prison. At such time, if he repents and truly mourns his sin in
    deep and regretful sorrow before God and man then he may speak
    to the Church leaders for reinstatement. After prayerful consideration
    and after a probation period, (during which time God decides by his
    love and mercy whether he is to be accepted back into the fold or the
    offender has not truly repented, for God knows the intentions of the heart).
    But Christendom doesn't follow God's law in such matters. As long as
    things go as they are now there will always be practicing pedophiles
    among them. And God will hold church authorities to account for their
    not following his law concerning sexual immorality in their churches.
    Scriptures: 1 Cor.5:11,13 / Deut.17: 2-4,7 / 1 Tim. 5:20 / 2 Cor.2:6,7.
    That's how you do it!
