  1. I would like to make a point, we put too much emphasis on voting to unionize. You don't need to vote to unionize in order to achieve better worker conditions, in fact, there is at least an element of the ruling class controlling labor movements by placing such a big emphasis on the vote to unionize. Say you win the vote, then what, then you get union "leaders" to negotiate shitty contracts for the workers, and workers will have to pay dues for this, which is going to turn workers off to the idea of unions. It's kind of a trap. I say we need to organize worker solidarity to improve working conditions regardless of whether we are officially unionized. There are direct action tactics that can be used with or without the trade union. This is a philosophy that is embraced by the IWW by the way, which is not a trade union, you can join and be part of that union without having to have a majority vote in your workplace. And they have a big picture goal of overthrowing capitalism, which is important to me. Workers having each other's back to looking out for each other, these after things that resonate with most workers, regardless of their politics, it transcends culture war BS, it works.
    Just a thought

  2. The 1 percent Elites wants west to be practiced china's communist labor policy that uses people as a sheeple and manipulates their rights and freedom of socially and financially responsibility..
These Elites wants to slave people..
    In order to control them

  3. Amazon is just plain greedy.
There is no other word to clearly describe their reaction when they have more than they could ever use in multiple life times. I guess the word sociopath also comes to mind.

  4. Many reports report that the membership keeps declining despite the union activity is increasing and the support for the unions(>70%).
By nature (I think) Americans don't want to do the hard work but expect others to do it and take the result of it.

  5. Do we really need more union gangs that end up corrupt and inside politics. All major unions are corrupt right now and promote corrupt politicians. You know how corrupt the teachers' unions are right? How corrupt the Police unions are? Why do you want more unions to just end up corrupted. Many of these unions are helping destroy this country. Our rights are being taken away because of corrupt lobbists that work for these unions.

  6. Right you are. I thought that I heard someone say at the beginning of this discussion that the success of the Union in April has now been recognized officially. Very sad if I'm wrong.

  7. Can you imagine being the largest co. in the world, destroying small biz by the millions and even gamed their competition after they forced them on the site by throttling search results. There's tons of commercial real estate space empty in all 50 states because of this company, mom n pop stores collect revenue for local municipalities so that hurts everyone. Not even lastly, but this fiuckin prick bezos had to be embarrassed into paying $15 an hour to all those people hustling around warehouses without a/c and demand 60 + hrs a week. Anything grimy that can be done is SOP at Amazon, imagine what we don't know about them since they're partnered with the CIA and all

  8. Good speakers. Very motivational. Even with that "Mouse on a wheel" bandwidth generator Bryson is using, his way of speaking made it not matter. That's who you're union leaders are supposed to be. Not some quiver who cringes in the face of Biden or anyone else. If the RR union had this man as their leader, he would have embarrassed Biden and got the deal they were looking for.

  9. I don't understand why anyone buys anything from Amazon.but today we all buy most things from some big corporation owned by the grotesquely rich people who now own just about everything, but still cheat, corrupt, lie, in short they will do anything to get even more, and I do mean anything, millions suffer, die from hunger, or because they have no money for medicine, and speaking about medicine, big pharma designs their products to NOT make you well, actually most times it makes you sick because it's good for profit. Make no mistake, the rich do not deserve their wealth.. They are hit by the worst condition known to man greed. There is good reason why greed is a sin.

  10. Labor unions are a net negative on the workforces and a drag on improving the conditions of people in hourly roles. The communal approach just fosters animosity and distrust. A more free-market approach would be far more effective. Treat the companies the same as you would an individual paying for your labor and time. If your skill is worth something then work for a company that compensates for what you can provide. If your company will not negotiate, walk out and go to another company, just as you would turn down an offer to an individual who won't pay a reasonable amount for your work. Just as you would not purchase a product in a store that charges too much for an item you can get elsewhere, you would shop at the other location, you should be willing to shop for a job that is a better fit. Once people empower themselves to do this, the companies will have to compete for the labor by offering better wages and/or benefits.

  11. We in the UK are all out on strike from transport workers to postal workers ambulances nurses every profession you can think of ,we are tired of all this nonsense they cant afford to give you a rise ,whilst sending billions to ukrainian nazis and inflation raging here in double figures, and dont start me on the price of our energy bills, but this dosent affect these Leeches in corporations or politicians, well there in for a shock, we are not taking this shit anymore.

  12. And each government be they left or right have done nothing to help the workers. we saw in the pandemic that they can make and change laws at will. The political system stinks, same here in the UK.
Stand your ground workers much love from the UK ❤

  13. Amazon was abusive BEFORE covid, long before. But covid made people realize how abusive Amazon is. Oh also, never correct HR when they're breaking the law because they'll fire you ..

  14. Word to business owners- treat your workers with RESPECT, rather than like shovels, and you will not have unions.Really bad when you consider a BILLIONAIRE owns Amazon.

  15. Mass consolidation of amazon and auto delivery. Thats whats coming. Unions destroy another country. The only ones that can afford unions is the government which uses extorted money stolen from small business.

  16. I canceled my Amazon account and haven’t bought anything in months and don’t plan on buying anything from Amazon ever again.

  17. AND MANY EVANGELICAL/CONSERVATIVE "CHRISTIANS" (BLACK, WHITE, HISPANIC, ETC) CRITICIZE NAZI TACTICS LIKE THEY WERE THE WORST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. NAZI GERMANY GETS CRITICIZED FOR THEIR HISTORIC FASCISM; BUT FASCISM WILL NEVER END BECAUSE IMPERIALISM WILL NOT.

  18. Danish unions was fantastic, life was good in Denmark, then they broke down the unions, now poverty is a big problem=>homeless unemployed drugabuse Crime😟

  19. I'm in a skilled trades union and yes the pay is great full coverage BCBS medical dental and vision that we don't pay for plus a pension and an annuity that we can borrow out of. Our jobs aren't guaranteed and if someone doesn't like you they can lay you off immediately
