This video is a prime example of why one must be critical of all media. It's clear that Christine Blasey Ford lied about some key things.
1. Her fear of flying
2. Her fear of enclosed spaces
3. The genesis of the "recovered memory" being based on couple's counseling about a second front door in 2012 when the door was installed in 2008 as part of a rental unit.
4. Familiarity with the polygraph and how to prepare for it.
It's also clear that this was a political smear campaign. Diane Feinstein probably didn't think the allegation was credible which is why she didn't share it with the committee majority leader as soon as she got it. Her staff overruled her unbeknownst to her and leaked the information though Ford was already talking to the press.

Regardless of the sexual assault allegations' brought against him, he GROSSLY mis-characterized himself AND lied under oath!!! -Â this is a COMPLETE conflict of interest – He has NO BUSINESS in any type of judicial practice, WHATSOEVER!!!
Basic neuroscience tells us that non-traumatic memories are made in the hippocampus. They fade. They can be manipulated. On the other hand, traumatic memories are made in the amygdala, the fear center of the brain. They are seared into the brain. They are flashbacks. They are vivid and detailed. They return when triggered as though the trauma happened yesterday. We see elements of both in Dr. Ford's testimony. She was not as specific about non-traumatic details but very detailed about her vivid memories of her traumatic attack.
The interviewee sounds more like a polemic Democrat, really. 1) His opening comment is problematic, because surely "i don't remember the party" does not equal "the party never happened" (that would be a refutation), but if several people around the accuser have no recollection of it taking place, then they effectively refute her testimony…so it would be more factually proper to say that what she said was uncorroborated / false / non-factual / "opposite of the truth", because she made a factual statement/claim and that claim is unsupported by evidence or testimony…he turns Kavanaugh's statement about "refutation" into the "opposite of the truth" (which is what concerning the alleged party or the alleged sexual misconduct?) working rhetorically towards the word "lie".
…2)Then he "credits" Kavanaugh with obfuscation, but does not acknowledge that the accuser is playing the exact game from an opposite direction. If they can treat something written in a school-book as a general portrayal of Kavanaugh's record during those years, then Kavanaugh surely has the same argument to make, that the general picture was quite the opposite to that portrayed and that the accuser is engaging in manipulation.
….3) Then the interviewee uses terms as " completely out of touch", which then affords him to treat any incident (in this case a gathering) as a general reversal and undermining of Kavanagh's claim, thus playing the dodgy game of misrepresented "refutation" he accused Kavanaugh of, a few minutes before, investing in creating impressions despite inserting a comment about it not being proof…"very, very suspicious" he says emphatically…and follows it up with calling this again a "lie" where we're playing with impressions and counting this game over what his general character was as practical confirmation of the specific allegations…
….4) How is drinking or getting into a bar-fight or guys "proudly" declaring they puked providing any answer to the connotation of the question whether he "ever got so drunk that he didnt remember the clothes he wore"? This question of course implies that he might have taken clothes off/exposed himself etc. He criticizes Kavanaugh for providing a direct negative answer to that statement but then treats the above as providing contrary directly "affirmative" answers to the question…and then proceeds to name this "lying" again…this is getting ridiculous at this point.

I'm surprised Robinson didn't mention the fact that Dr. Ford was shown to have lied about coaching lie detector tests by her ex-boyfriend. So yes it's a he said she said, because people lie when they don't want to incriminate themselves. To think this is otherwise means you are being partisan.

Some of the comments here are just plain sad. Forget about Ford and her allegations of sexual assault. Kavanaugh was asked about his life during the hearing, and he responded with lies, paranoia, and open contempt. There was absolutely no need to do that. Doing so only added further weight to Ford's testimony, but his childish behaviour alone was enough to disqualify him from any important government position, let alone a supreme court judge. The fact that so many here cannot or will not understand such basic concepts is very worrying. So many see Kavanaugh in themselves and decided to throw their lot in with him, because admitting that the truth about his hilarious testimony would be like conceding defeat to all the "conniving" women out there just lying in wait for them. Being wrong is like a death sentence to men like Brett Kavanaugh.
I think this guy lays it out very well. Of course we don't know what allegedly happened or didn't happen in '82 but it's fairly clear that Kav lied through his teeth.
