From strippers in North Hollywood to service workers in Atlanta and graduate students in Michigan, workers across sectors of the economy are taking direct action and fighting for what they deserve. But they are also facing retaliation, union busting, and even violence on the picket line. If we want to see the labor movement grow, we need to be there for workers when it counts the most, and we need to do whatever we can to make sure they win their fights.

In the latest worker solidarity livestream, TRNN Editor-in-Chief Maximillian Alvarez will speak with a panel of workers about their respective strikes and struggles at the Star Garden Topless Bar in North Hollywood, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the University of Michigan, and more.

  1. Ah ok, someone talking about civil rights sure, civil rights?
Someone than doesn’t know exactly how the Colombians🤷‍♀️
Why you dont talk to the rest of Colombians been abused by guerrillas in the city, the ones that kipnap the Colombians, don’t allowed them to go to work, stolen properties because they think they have the right to do it?
    Whose burn our cars?
They are criminals, what about our human rights???

  2. lol the bosses ought to look at what happens to society's such as gammora that didnt unionize & collapsed instead, see if they can find any of the ruling merchant familys from carthage
if america had todays society it would have collapsed in great depression lol
it is truly a disposable culture, not even capable of surviving the forces it once weathered

  3. Damn!
    The knights of Solidarity! Vs
    Lord scabs men at arms.

That's one picket line I'd like to see!

I pledge my allegiance to the knights of Solidarity. I will not waver in the quest for health care, shelter and food for all the lands

  4. In the coming age of hyper-automation and A.I. in the workplace.
Service sector workers WILL be decimated. Just like factory workers decades ago when heavy industry jobs were shipped overseas and south of the border.
    To be brutally honest…
Unionization should be strictly limited to non-automatable-non-outsourceable jobs and professions only.

  5. Can we please stop with the pronouns? It’s divisive and causes other people who might otherwise support to walk away in disgust. If you really want broad base support, stop with the identity politics.

  6. Thank you for that excellent strike update, Yeager! Solidarity and all the love from a community ally in Ann Arbor 🫶

  7. Honestly when they kicked 15 million off Medicaid we should have got in the streets like the French but nary peep from everyday Americans. We are such a broken people, the voters in other developed nations wouldn’t stand for what we put up with every day

  8. Totally clueless, hate their own kind, striking workers need to connect with reality, grow a backbone, put all their petty differences aside, unite in force, and get rid the source of all their problems, the centuries old global financial ruling class. Huh? What?
Massive evil only respects force! Not cowardly protests, voting, petitions!

  9. I'm personally not pro union , I've worked for to many scams labeled unions . That said I don't know why we need to pay corporations ( that's what modern unions are ) to stand together . I work in the trucking industry and little is known or is falsely reported ( or exaggerated… Canada) . Therefore the idea of the trucking industry having an impactful strike is difficult. There's been hundreds of trucker strikes in last decade but rarely reported on . Another issue is since the MCA , signed by Carter , was passed our pay has dropped nearly 40 percent which restricts us from simply being able to strike . I really believe this is by design because remember empty shelves during the lockdowns ? If there was a meaningful trucker strike , grocery stores would be closed due to shortages within 4 to 5 days .
I do feel we need a real strike to get our voices heard above the money of the ATA and the corporations it represents ( not mom and pop or drivers it says it represents… thats a f%&king joke ) .
The fact is more off us no matter our occupation need to start walking out , calling out , and stepping out of businesses or industries that refuse to put their biggest investors first ( labor is the costliest investment you can ever make in any industry , corporation or company) . We as working Americans are the overwhelming majority and the regulators, corporations and employers are the overwhelming MINORITY.

  10. My pronoun for those with and issue with pronouns is "grow up chumps"😅😮. Love humanity 💙. Blue blood carries oxygen, red blood doesn't.

  11. Lower politicians wage to no more than the average of the lowest 20% including those without jobs. They will change instantly! Expectedly when we count their bribes and election funds.🤣🤣🤣

  12. USPS workers aren’t allowed to strike & face loosing their job when going to the media. Look into how rural mail carriers have had their pay cut by about 10,000 a year & have to work and extra day for less pay. The implemented a new compensation system called RRECS. So far I’ve only found 2 articles on the subject because no one will talk about it & they’re invisible from inability to strike. The rural carriers union isn’t the best but better than nothing. I’m trying to spread the word & make the public aware.
