Philip Alston says that the Government says they were no poor people so there are no specific strategy???? Do you investigate truly!!! We have lembaga Zakat that gives money to the poor, we have lots of NGO that gives free food to the needs. Some provide shelters. In Malaysia, there are ways to get free education. It is overstatement that the government done nothing. Everyone can get out of the poverty IF they determine to work hard for it.
They are stateless, neither Phillipines nor Malaysia recognize them as citizen….no matter what, they are human being, deserve better life…😢😢😢
