3. Your latest piece on breaking points was great. I’ve had so many jobs where understaffing was a problem. Even as a 14 year old with a workers permit they tried to push my hours to the brink so they wouldn’t have to hire more people and could keep paying me 5$ an hour instead.

5. US capitalism is an offshoot of US slavery, hence often extremely cheap, unnecessarily brutal, and excepting the most for the lowest possible wages (all the way down to sweatshops, and prison labor), etc.

6. that are working minimum wage jobs you shouldn't look at that job as a career that job is a stepping stone take that money that you make from your regular 9 to 5:00 and find you a side hustle to invest in that's how you get your American dream it doesn't have to be in America it could be somewhere else just food for thought

   We should be fighting tooth and nail to abolish those crappy service jobs in favor of mass machine automation and artificial intelligence in the workplace.
   Those jobs are horribly irredeemable and should be phased out via automated systems and other labor saving devices.

15. Excellent commentary. I like the points that capitalist employers / organizations see their workers a "disposable", replaceable. So true. And those workers who dont fall in line and comply with institutional oppression or economic exploitation are usually silenced and disposed of quickly. That stated, I would like to see you / Real News continue these discussions but with more interrogation the racialization of labour, or perhaps racism / white hegemony in the workplace and how employers often Fail to protect racialized or LGTB workers from micro aggressions / oppression.
