This week on PAR, we continue our ongoing investigation into the problem of rural overpolicing and provide a critical update on the killing of Tyler Rushing, which we reported on earlier in the year. Rushing’s case is yet another stark example of cops ignoring the needs of a civilian experiencing mental distress; instead, police brutally deployed a K-9, which bit him repeatedly, before shooting Rushing in the back of the head. Now, a police expert is speaking out, casting doubt on every action officers took the night Rushing died and raising more questions about the use of force by law enforcement and the untold consequences of abusing it. 1. This is why police in this country shouldn't be considered anything more than an immediate threat and should be treated accordingly.

  2. Once again government officials commit murder and get away with it due to qualified immunity. It needs to end and judicial supremacy also needs to end, otherwise this country will cease to exist.

  3. Put pressure on the judges who are elected to the bench? Having judicial immunity doesn't make them unreachable. And the same holds true for prosecutors. Pour over every single case they've ever mishandled and plaster every instance of cronyism on everything from flyers to media ads and social media platforms to billboards to the side of barns. That's where it will be felt the most and heard the loudest.

  4. 42 deaths. 42 cop murders. These scared little weenies just shoot and shoot and shoot. They love the violence. Voters this has become a pattern for this behavior. You are in danger. You need to clean house here. When you allow the cops to monitor themselves they lie. Copsplaining is lying in steroids.
You pay these cops to commit violent acts. Now you will Begin to pay in court.

  5. If there any cops read this

There ain't no cop above the law and no one ain't neither above the law if you done the crime u should do the time that means the cops to because they aren't better than no one

  6. Crooked cops rely on "QUALIFIED IMMUNITY" ….. to get them off from any and all charges. (where did qualified immunity come from any way?

  7. This is horrible! I am praying for these families. These police thugs are among the worse humans who have ever lived. This has to change! Immediately!! Sue their pants off!!!

  8. cops should not have control of their cams. this should be a separate entity that monitors the cams, a handful of people could watch an entire police force.
