  1. I love Jim Keady and he's a real hero. But he doesn't understand the problem is capitalism- and a country like Vietnam is a communist country. They aren't the problem, they don't have capitalists running their country. Our country is the problem

  2. Americans should actually focus their attention with the issues of forced and slave labour practises in the United States of America itself. There are plenty to do for them, just from 2 of the most obvious sources in the USA. Its prison system and the migrant labour system alone should keep them busy for the rest of their lives.

  3. Jim's got his heart in the right place. He's right that what should have been an equal exchange of resources, the workers labor for infrastructure, creating a higher quality of life for the workers and their community.
But Profit Over People Capitalism wont even allow that. Capitalism has taken on it's ugliest form and twisted those who covet it.

  4. Great guest. I decided a while ago to stop buying more Nike stuff. It’s a shame I didn’t come to this decision earlier, but pretty much everyone growing up in the 90s was obsessed with brand names. No one saw through it. But I should have known better in the 2000s and 2010s. I’m going to use my current running shoes until they wear out, and then only buy what I need from the most ethical companies.

I think Washington Commanders is a terrible name and I thought so as soon as they announced it. Washington Football Team was better and that was a zero imagination temporary name.

  5. Jim Keady I have the most respect and admiration for your tenacity and your courageous efforts to stop the brutal exploitation of workers in third world countries so that ruthless transnational corporations such as NIKE can maximize their profits. This modern day colonialism is occurring everywhere in the world today, including the U.S. in which wealthy share holders make enormous profits at the expense of the exploited workers. Keep up the good work.exposing this travesty of justice to the rest of the world.

  6. Catholic Teaching opposes oppression on workers in the same way it condemns Abortion and abhorrent mistreatment of workers. Mistreating and refusing to pay your workers decent wages is called an abomination in the Torah!

  7. Should the blame fall on h-sapiens which dont take the advice of benatar's ANTINATALISM or capitalist $ hungry?

  8. Like your responsibility and that organization stole the slogan "Just do it!" from a track coach by the name Oren Richburg he should have sued them.

  9. I dont buy Nike. They could have stopped a package from shipping out that someone in another state bought w my stolen cc numbers. Disgusting! A cust svc rep said he could stop it. Put me on hold. Disappeared. Then everyone else pretended not to know him. The stupid shoes or whatever shipped. My bank took care of me but screw u Nike

  10. No, to Niki. Congratulations to the both of you for this discussion today.
