I was in Welland Ontario at a college I think late teens or 20 or something when Bruce did rocket launcher his stealing fire tour…the album wasn't out yet..I'd been given by a friend the album Dancing Dragons Jaws and loved it played it over and over beautiful album,.then got more but when I heard this song at the concert I'd cringed in my seat because I didn't really know what it was all about! Later on bought it but didn't know where Bruce was going! I retrospective I liked it later ok because as usual Bruce's music and lyrics so good!And I was impressed with his art!So I continued to watch and listen and respect him!
Freeze frame…Interview minute 11:47….With her firend or sister, the smiling young girl hugs the M16 in same way that an American girl of the same age, would have been hugging her donny osmond pillow… we have no idea what ther vision of reality is… but thanks to Bruce and his outrage we can catch a second hand glimmer as the blades of the chopper beat over the mountain ridge… what would I do…………. if i had a rocket launcher… what would i do?????????????????????
