  1. Current pope did nothing when the military took power in Argentina. He's good at talking left but is very much of the political centre. Never a Liberation Theologist. Using Romero's belt is symbolic of that.

  2. Most note that Archbishop Romero is not example of catholic church, but exception. Obviously in first time he also was passive but something changed him. But didn't changed any other priest in Salvador. And how many his colleagues make noise about it? Not much? About Pope Francis – he is cunning fox which with reformatory – pro poor, pro people, anti pedophilia, against rich and politic – face, he let Nicaragua priests organizes and leads pro fascist coup, in Brazil they supporting pro-nazi dictator candidate come to power. Doing job in Venezuela behind veil supporting pro US and anti-native corporatists. In his Argentina his candidate already took power and successfully destroys country… And he is leading revolution in church mercilessly removing his opponents under veil of modernization. It is not modernization, it is jesuitisation.
