Police Chased Cyclist for Not Having A Reflector. He Ended up Dead

But when you discuss the reason why there are certain fractions and that place enforce them, I’ll send you become one-dimensional.

   I myself think about a great reason why people should have reflectors on their bike. If I’m driving down the road and I don’t see someone who is riding a bike and I hit them, I could possibly end up going to prison. And if nothing else I could get sued and have to live with killing someone. Maybe I was paying attention 100% or maybe I glanced down in my radio. But there’s a lot of trouble that someone has to go through. So having a reflector on your bike seems more than justified.

   Here’s the problem if you decide you don’t want to put a lot of resources in the chasing someone who runs. If the police routinely refuse to chase someone, then people will run more and more. It’s just a normal incentives of life. So I don’t know what all the answers are by any stretch of the imagination, but I feel like what’s the difference between you and I is that I know I don’t know all the answers.

   And everything I said does not preclude there being a possibility that police are using low-level issues like this too much in the community or even certain parts of the community. That’s a different issue. My whole problem here is that you seem to purposely be one dimensional when it suits your ideology. That is dishonesty.
