1. if you want a democratic governmental system that works for the benefit all I would start by not bolting it to an antidemocratic economic system that makes all work for the benefit of few. FDR claimed he saved capitalism. The truth is he made a grave mistake in doing so.

   Capitalism + democratic governance = corruption and missus of power inevitably, eventually. As would be the same result from any top down economic system that concentrates wealth and political influence from that wealth, into the hands of few, created by the work of many.
