The only way to get their attention is to shut things down and make it impossible for the political elites to get their own selfish agenda's passed. That was the problem with occupy. 28. Jimmy Carter passed all kinds of programs while he was in office. Dear Ronnie Reagan trashed everything that Jimmy Carter put in place in the late 70's. So yes, America could have been leading this fight for the past 40 years. Instead, here we are, 40 years later. And not only are Republicans not wanting to do it. But now Centrist Democrats are also blocking the path of everything America needs to do to make things RIGHT!

29. People need to look more at how the industry objectifies the value of these commodities into which a day's work is objectified. 
    This creates a social division of labor that works to sustain a fossil fuel industry.
    The Green New Deal is not going to make allies of the workers in this sector as long as the miners, drillers, excavators, get top dollar from the industry.
    The workers sacrifice the big picture of climate change to the immediate needs of their families because the communities they live offer no other work, and not working at all, is not an option.
    That Kentucky is so unevenly developed with jobs concentrated in cities and rural life handed over to the mining and drilling industry, a GND, would have to radically transform this imbalance by eliminating those jobs for other jobs a family, no matter, where they are located can live with dignity.
