  1. Thank God, someone has finally noticed what is going on in Susanville! The cops and prison guards are all in gang of criminal behavior. I live in Westwood, 20 miles out of Susanville. This is where a lot of cops and guards live. They try to pick and choose who lives here. I am an outsider and have been discriminated against, because I don't believe what they do. They think they can do whatever they want and they do! Private Prisons should never be allowed to operate. We should build affordable housing, instead of prisons! This prison has a high recidivism. Once they get your number, they don't stop. Ive caught someone in my house, with their car full of my stuff, and the police wouldn't do anything! A gang of guys came to my house with guns, looking for my son, and cops refused to do anything about it. They tried to tell me I was mistaken! I know what a gun looks like. The guys pointed it at me. Lassen County California needs to be investigated! I feel like I am in Mississippi or something!

  2. I was born and raised in susanville, I got all the dirt hmu let’s talk about this some more . I’m Hispanic M 30y I got the whole background on this town it’s held me down for so long and I’m back ready to fight back.

  4. Thank God for these closures something is working let's help our young people stay out of these horrible places its all about money. Keeping young men in and not helping with rehabilitation bulls!@t. It effects everyone not just the men. The women the children everyone communities. I turned my life around but as a single mom my youngest son is following his fathers steps. Let's help our children. Thank u for this video much appreciated and sooo thankful for the closure. LETS CLOSE SOME MORE. I went for 7 years before leaving my ex husband. It was one of the hardest decisions I made. This has to stop last time I went up there was 2003. 20 years now. My ex is still in prison. He was 22 years old he us almost 50.

  5. This is hilarious. What a joke. Don’t do the crime if you don’t want to do the time. You’re not going to a resort to be pampered you’re a criminal. You keep talking about saved money what about the family’s that are going to be loosing their homes that didn’t commit crimes, you don’t care about that all you care about are the criminals being taken care of.

  6. Talk about abuses of human rights!! The one country that claimed itself to be the exemplar for respect for human rights, the United States of America, is in fact and in practise is the most prolific abuser of human rights and slave labour. And not just of its own citizens but the citizens of this globe too. From its own corporatised prison system with the world's highest rate of incarceration to its torture camps in Guantanamo to Abu Ghariab and rendition centres around the world.

  7. Mr. Lawyer you really do not know what you are talking about do you? This prison was never on any closure list. This is all in retaliation for being a highly conservative county and Newsom wants to close the entire County, not just the prison. He wants everyone dumped in cities where the majority is left wing because they only get news that is mainstream. The man sitting next to you, did TIME for a reason. And if they are so hot to close this prison by Christmas, why are they still pouring money into it? A few million for a basketball court?

  8. CCC in Susanville wasn't originally on the list of closures. But it jumped to the top 5 when Lassen County had the highest number of votes "FOR" the recall. Hmmm…Retaliation??

  9. Hey Mr Lawyer… where does it say you had any hand in “winning” this case? As I recall, you were kicked out of trying to piggyback off the State in this… please correct me if I’m wrong! 😂

  10. Saving $120mil a year?? Do you realize that the state still has responsibility to keep this facility maintained?? Boiler rooms, generator, HDSP is connected to CCC so it can never fully close down.
DVI is currently getting revamped with all new piping. How much is that saving the State??? The waterlines were making people sick there. Are you sure DVI is going to stay closed? DO YOUR RESEARCH!!

  11. Ck inmates dying sheriff riverside co.ca. jails. These inmates and families need help and answers instead of the sheriff's dept. dragging there feet.

  12. Close both the prisons in susanville , i was born and raised here this was a much better place before these shithole prisons were built

  13. This is a skewed video from only one side. CCC is in good condition. The dorms are cooled in the summer, heated in the winter and generally in good condition. Look where the inmates will be transferred. SCC no dorm cooling, tons of mold etc.! Mr. lawyer please speak from experience about how prisons are racist. The way I see it if we had less crime we would need less prisons. Has the crime rate dropped or is there still plenty of crime? Please take in criminals Mr. lawyer. The lawsuit was was because CDCR did not do what the law stated. The CEQA was not performed. That was the law! Then the legislature changed the law while the lawsuit was going on. Well guess what the judge had no leg to stand on and had to dismiss the lawsuit! Please get your facts straight and do a little research!
