  1. I am old enough to remember when both of what is now corporate/elite political parties had good people in them. You could literally find someone in the other party that you could vote for and not feel bad about it. It used to be that one party favored business and the other favored labor. Perhaps not that clearly but it was the tendency. What we have now is political theater. We argue and fight not about policy and what is good for the people but what the politicians and media tells us to fight for.

  3. The ones who fall for scare tactics are the ones who called themselves the "superior, High IQ" race. That's like mixing oil and water together, they're not compatible to each other.

In a real democracy the secretary of state would have recused himself from overseeing the election, instead what we get is another example of what a banana republic our country has devolved into.
