I think it's going to take sea level rise being a reality before most take it seriously. Otherwise, it doesn't really look any different to people than historical events, even if those events are more frequent and/or powerful. It's kind of like things on social media that are statistically trending down but we can see more because we are more connected or certain things excite more than others that might be more important. 26. Yes. Sea levels are already rising, so this explanation by Dr. Cooke makes absolute sense. We are either in grave denial or extremely stupid to not see the obvious. And we "humans" are to blame for increasing and hurrying climate warming crisis/change. Our children and grandchildren will suffer the consequences by loosing farmland and crowding habitable land.
