Sea Level Rise Could Be Three Times Worse Than Previous Estimates

1. They originally projected that the Maldives would be underwater by, what? 2018? So what idiot can claim it's WORSE? It's nowhere near as bad. In fact, it's been pretty steady and unrelated to fossil fuels.

7. This is a total lie. Everyone test this for yourself. There are many places on earth where people are showing evidence that sea levels remain the same as 100 years ago. Of course there are places after heavy rains where the levels rise in particular areas, but when weather returns to normal, sea levels are normal. Example: a storm surge due to hurricane winds will push water towards a coast. Or a bay or river may flood due to wind direction. But the oceans remain at the same levels

But land erosion is not and cannot be counted as a rising sea level. If you live on the coast your land is going away. It always has been and it always will

18. Basically what this guy is saying is that they just made up land elevations to suit their models. Historical tide gauges in locations that are not affected by isostatic rebound or subsidence are showing zero rise in sea level against the background rate of 1.8 mm per year. That background rate has been unchanged for 8,000 years.

20. The oceans are rising at a rate of 200-300 mm per year and have been so for about 10,000 years. In order to have the kind of catastrophe they are talking about would require 10 times the current sea level rise. And it's based on models. Climate Models gave sgown themselves worthless for the last 30 years.
