Most politicians for West Virginia down to the local level have been corrupt. Big energy has exploited these people for decades. Environmental protections don't mean a god damn thing in this state! They have poisoned West Virginia and sell out Manchin is no different.
Manchon is really a Republican in his views. The education system in West Virginia was geared toward creating a labor force for the coal industry. They are caught in the times of the past, did not keep up with the new jobs the country was creating. The southern states who think they are doing good with all those petrochemical plants will be the Appalachia of the future. They do not see the way of the future. The "New Green Deal" will change how the energy of the future will be created. You can train your children for the future, are keep trying to stay ahead with the jobs of the past.
