Remember—the Episcopal Church and other mainline churches–are just the legacy of the Royals–and the ruling class–trying to reestablish control after the Reformation. The Christian life is a journey where we never stop learning. Sometimes we feel close to God, but other times, we need encouragement and even to be rebuked from our mistakes.
Repentance is not a one time deal. Spiritual blindness is a real daemon that affects religion and especially those who think of themselves as holy. Humility is to judge ourselves against the greatness of our Lord Jesus recognizing that we are not that good, and probably never will. Our salvation is by pure grace granted to everyone who repents and live according to Jesus.
The walk with Jesus and the invitation to carry the cross is an everyday challenge.
It does not matter what you did yesterday, today is the day of salvation. Being free from sin yesterday does not qualify you for today unless you keep yourself from sinning today.
To think you had obtained maturity and victory over sin inviting religious pride takes away the protection of the holy one who actually keeps us from evil and falling into tentation.
It's God's Spirit what departs you from evil, not yourself.
It's not just ordaining women, priests need to be allowed to get married!

well, no – Problems with the Italian franchise has increased the growth of all other churches and denominations. ITALY does not hold copyright over the Christianity Mythology. Anyone can build a church or even start a whole new religion if they like. Write a new one if you feel so inspired.
American Churches & other countries churches are more successful and faster growing.
Look at the MegaChurches growing everywhere.
They promote the positive message of the good news gospel teachings of Jesus Christ. Hey, they teach in the people's own language, have great music, and promote happy healthy family values. These concepts are all public domain.
The Italians built a very large franchise, but every McDonalds also encounters Wendy's & Burger Kings. And every independent church or burger shop is free to grow and operate according to their need and ability.
In free countries, anyone can buy or borrow a New Testament and read about Jesus defeating Yahweh, solving the sin, death, and salvation problem, healing others and raising himself from the dead, and teaching people to Love One Another. His lessons of the Good Samaritan do not require talking snakes , flying horses, or magic burning trees. Just Compassion & Caring.
