17. 05:23 — Shadid says the corruption in the House is not illegal, and THAT is the whole problem with the US Constitution itself. There is NOTHING in the Constitution that mandates that the Fed Govt must care for the public, not even during a pandemic. It was easy for Pelosi to swing the House rules away from favoring social programs because the Constitution says NOTHING about public welfare. FDR realized this in his last State Of The Union address when he called for an Economic Bill Of Rights but he died shortly thereafter. Consider that the 13th Amendment which was created after the Civil War was the 1st mention in the Constitution of ANYTHING about how one American can treat another, and that only covers the most egregious mistreatment which is Slavery. Shahid sounds like a well intentioned fellow but voting even 100 people like him into office means NOTHING if the Constitution is not changed, or even rewritten because until then the Fed Govt has the right to Crap On Public Welfare, and the status quo will do what it must to keep it that way.
