  1. Is the term nationalize an accurate one? The government activated the right to exert temporal direct control of any means of the private healthcare system might have, but it didn't buy or expropriate it.

  2. Direct democracy, democratization could happen after the pandemic, but it won't just happen. The public has to bring mass pressure. We have to choose and make it happen.

    Another option is dystopia.

  3. Here they are not nationalized. Not only because of ideological reasons, but bc of bribes by the medical industry they call lobbying. Either way, if you make everyone pay into healthcare and not get private insurance (unless they want it as an add on), then you would have a very very robust system in place that could deal far better with this crisis than this privatized scandal.

  4. It is a government takeover of all Spanish industries they will own everything and control everything welcome to communism

  5. Simple question: how about when these owners of private health care facilities present the government with a bill….the government simply says " sorry, we can't pay you, you'll just have to get by….like the rest of us". If you think they'll collapse, ha! Where are the elites going to go for their healthcare?

  6. Would it be better to just stop my monthly payments to my health care provider and pay my own doctor bill. Instead of being denied by my health care provider.

  7. A robust public funded health care system for every citizen. That's what Bernie Sanders has always been fighting for. That's the difference between Capitalism and Democratic Socialism.

  8. A National Healthcare system is better, with government assistance National Healthcare providers have nearly unlimited resources. With the Private Healthcare companies rely strictly on wither a patience can pay at all. Which if the price of Coronavirus testing & treatment is truly especially if you don't have insurance it's gonna run you about $35,000 at least in the US.

  9. In general, spaniards have been very proud of their public health system, available to everyone.
Our desire is to make it as robust, or even more, than before the conservative governments cuts.
